It is a beautiful document to read and expresses some of the best ideas humans have had. The ideals expressed are relevant to all people of the world, though they may choose to live in many different ways. Live as you want and let no tyrant tell you otherwise. While many of the ideas expressed were not fulfilled quickly or completely it still inspires us to expect more liberty as a natural right.

Address Jeffersons Harsh grievance to the King about instituting slavery and not allowing the colonies to do away with it! In this grievance he clearly states, in bolded capital letters, that slaves were indeed MEN! It was a very complex time, and the grievance was omitted because the urgency was to unite the colonies and slavery would have to be dealt with after that fact. People have no idea about the grievance, why it was omitted and how it was clear in writings that slavery was an institution that had to be abolished.

lesson to learn is, even the best politicians we ever had were hypocritical liars
*owning slaves, yet claiming all men are created equal*

iSam72 Fortunately, due to the powerful having naming rights, they didnt feel it was necessary to overty state that only white men were created equal. So the phrase will forever be interpreted liberally as "man kind", aka gender and "race neutral" human kind.

That is a very unnuanced view of these men. Study them more and you'll find out why your calling them hypocrites is absurd.

When you write the words "sacred + undeniable" in blue ink over the text it is almost impossible to read. Either write LARGER or in a clear area with a line connecting back to reference it. Thank you!
