That golf ball at 9:20 died for our golfing sins. These are great drills, thanks Clay! I have this exact problem and am working on it. Am going to try the slapshot drill next.

This video was made for me! I played a lot in my youth and had a nice swing. Somewhere in my 30’s I stopped playing as much. In my 40’s I started standing up and de-lofting the club. Time to take these tips and hit the range.

Hello Clay, I was topping my shots/ chunking all the time, then I saw this video.... "Hit it like a hockey shot" made the mental picture with a golf turn made the ball fly on the driving range !!! can't wait to play a round. Your advice made the difference.

What iron do you take to do your hochey drill? 7..6...4..?
I've noticed there has not been a video done for people (like myself) that apparently are decelerating and slightly flipping in the downswing at or before last parallel (causing a chunk or just hitting behind the ball more). I assume this is more a mental thing that I'm doing, but are there any drills specifically to help with this? Thank you
It would help if you can show us your swing and how the right elbow are bent and straighten after you hit the ball. 🙏
My number one issue with my swing is standing up flipping the club and it is causing distance and inconsistency issues with hitting the ball. These are great drills i am going to be working on this week thank you Clay 👍

It’s always feels. Gotta feel like your sitting down for your hips to stay where their at or to keep them from going forward. Just like wrist angles. If you have super open face gotta “feel” it’s super closed to have it square.

Great instructional videos; terrible hat
The slow breakdown is not even close to the motion of your swing. I understand having the idea of those motions, but if it’s not in a fluid consistent motion then it could hinder someone by trying to recreate those moves.
If the person already has a throwing the hands issue they will slam into the ground by trying to go that low.
Exactly what I saw as well. His actual swing isn’t remotely close to what he’s advocating.
