4K World's Most Enjoyable Short-Haul? Brand Spanking New Airbus A321Neo Cathay Pacific Economy Class

- In this trip report, we take you on the journey to discover Cathay Pacific Economy Class from Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) in an Airbus A321neo to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).
Unfortunately, the trip started pretty underwhelming at the Plaza Premium Lounge as the Cathay Lounge was still closed at the time of filming back in May 2023. The good news is that the lounge has since reopened in August 2023, so somebody go check it out for me please!!!
I picked the flight today specifically to try out Airbus A321neo which has received so much hype since it came into service in 2021. This recent addition to Cathay Pacific’s fleet promises the world’s most enjoyable short-haul experience. [Airbus A321neo] www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_A.... I reckon that Starlux looked pretty good toowith that bandit mask! Eva Air just ordered 15 of these A321neo to add to their fleet as well 👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks for the detailed trip report and the first row in Economy full analysis. Surprised you got a full hot meal on this short sector. I remember the snack bags I received when I flew this route a few years ago. My next flight is HKG‐HAN, about a 1hr 25 min flight later this month. Very excited to try out this new aircraft.

For most Hong kongers and Taiwanese they are going to be split between this one EVA Air China Airlines and Starlux. When compared to a Filipino version the ones belonging to Philippine Airlines this CX A321-251N beats a PR A321-271N. Remember this has Bluetooth equipped unlike the Philippine Airlines version which is not equipped with Bluetooth

@@navsky Only my brother and mother did PR407/408 MNL-KIX the SR version. If you kept it going pretty much the whole Philippine Airlines fleet is 1 to 1 with CX fleet with the pr widebodies missing an AC plug in Fiesta Class PR economy branding but CX versions are AC equipped
How is the legroom?
Bulkhead was very spacious. Can't comment on the other rows though 🤷🏻♂️
