I've spent the last 38 years of my life listening to all kinds of music, from the classics to obscure works in various subcultures (the tracker scene being one). To this day I have never understood how Radix/Mosaik is capable of producing such an overwhelmingly emotional response with his music. Just the transition from 2:51 to 2:55 and then onwards on that theme... it's utterly heartbreaking and euphoric at the same time. How is that even possible? It doesn't sound like music that should have that effect. I have literally never heard anything like that from anyone else, and I'd like to point out that there are scores of more technically advanced composers/producers out there that do a lot more tricks and technically more advanced stuff... but this guy just hangs back and takes it slow and is incredibly deliberate... and is infinitely more effective in every note that he puts down. I'm going insane just thinking about it. And I know that I'm not alone. So many people that I've talked to say that they feel the same. And I have never met anyone who can articulate why this happens and how this music is capable of it. There's nothing in here that SHOULD be this powerful - no vocals, no particularly dynamic elements, no tones that sound like they try to be haunting... it's just straight-forward, matter of fact and heartbreakingly beautiful music somehow.
No joke, this is my favorite song of all time. I first heard it while watching another youtube vid, and have listened to it at least a thousand times since then. It is so beautiful. You are awesome.
This is just such a beautiful track, thank you very much Jakob. The chords and the melody really grips my heart. Thank you for being a huge inspiration of what can be done with trackers/vsts and most important of all.. feelings.. Knowledge of the world around us.
I always think of beginning my life adventure with this song. Armed with my weapon of mass creation, my pen, and the carrier of my memories, my backpack, I would love to restart my life with this song... one day! or Next week! I hope I can take that step! x)
It is very rare that an artist is so open with his work. Very nice that you release this album in seperate layers. I am thinking about to make some remixes out of it!
Just wanted to let you know that your EP has been listened to almost weekly for a few years now, we listen to it at some point at least once a week. In the car, at home, at work, etc. Thanks, it's really wonderful

It was the "Aston Car" game by PYTAGUS TV!
Song of my life, soundtrack of everything. And… Mosaik/Rymdlego- melodies of first, teenage love.
I have gotten everything I can find by Mosaik AKA Radix. Donovan's Moonbike was my favorite now this one is. Thanks for posting it.

You know, every day you open your eyes, a new journey begins! Live your journey, not tomorrow, nor next week, but every day you wake. :)
Cody Johnson Thanks Cody Johnson. I'm starting to get it now. :D
"The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is today." ;)

wow .. That's really amazing
Man, that outro melody that starts at 4:00 is euphoric. I wish the song had worked a bit more off that before ending.

If I were to choose my life's main theme song this would be it.
his music s got heart ... similar style like ochre,

A musician of outstanding talents.

Thanks Radix/Mosaik/rmdlego...
I don't think I've ever encountered the tracker file for this one. I'm stunned it actually is one, given the sound quality.
akapype that's because Renoise is on par in terms of sound quality with other professional DAWs
Very lush. Thanks for the upload!
wonderful.. cant wait to add that to my collection :)
As someone that uses Renoise as the main DAW, this is great, thank you!
very relaxing swedish electro-trance, love the sound
Wow! First time I see Renoise in action
Isn't it relaxing watching the patterns advance and switch?
thank you for uploading your new tune
Something like the best tracks of Jarre.
This is awesome. I hope the track will be available in high quality somewhere soon.

gladness side of idm, nice track
This one is really good.
This is the kind of music a Lego set review channel would use back in 2011
deeply impressed
Hey Jake, are you on Spotify? Can't seem to find you under Radix, or Rymdlego. Cheers!
Excellent!

just a thought.
beautiful
Very nice!!
PERFECT
awesome
I like it. :)
lovely :)
nice.
you should upload "Boo" - easily my favorite of your tracks :)
Lovely
Mosaik is making my life better :D. Where I can find mp3 ???
For some reason Mosaik's beat always gives me an odd paranoid tingling feeling.
+deon lemarks That's because he skips the 'and' after 4. Count it as 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 (etc.) then it makes sense.
The 'and' is there. It's easy to count if you just think of it in half the time and count to 8 instead of using 'ands'
@@damonsisk4270 7/4 time signature. Pretty awesome stuff ;).
best 2:06~2:54
What? No! The best part is from 0:00-4:41
nice
oh it's 7/4 measure, cool
2:55
Hey mosaik, were the sounds generated by Renoise or are they samples?
Hi! The sounds are generated with two VSTi's called Synth1 and Albino.
Как называется эта программа-трекер? :)
Is this Renoise?
@is3000 Flak? Come on! Real music comes in tracker files! .mod, .s3m, .xm, .it... that's the stuff!
FLAC... kids these days...
Please, help me out... Where do you get the comparison with Radix? Can you give me a link? I think I'm confused with another "Radix"...
mosaik=radix i think
