I just recently moved from the fan in Richmond. We spent our 30's & 40's 5 mins from a number of great happy hours, in a house with a view of the beautiful old Sauers sign. Such lovely area. This has been missing ❤ thank you!!
Hi, I'd so happy to find you guys. Me and my partner are about to move to Richmond soon from London, England. Your videos are amazing and pretty informative. Now I have no doubt about moving there and see it with my own eyes :) Thank you for sharing this with us and keep it up. And it would be nice to bump into you when I will walking around the city :)
Hey! So nice to meet you. I am sure we will bump into each other! Richmond can be quite small at times. I love that you are moving from the first "Richmond" to the new one haha. We love London and also lived there for a time. DM me on Instagram @laurenzray if any questions. ☺💚
Its being pleasure watching and I appreciate your work. Im planning to visit Richmond in March, how do you find Richmond in March is it a good time to visit? And in last nice hair cut☺️
@@VJ_The-Rockstar. thank you! And yes, March can be cold but the spring flowers are amazing! Watch my spring video to see what it is like in March here: ua-cam.com/video/fK2sjsT1wGI/v-deo.htmlsi=WqEzexBlmaPe0Iz5
@@LaurenZRay Thanks Lauren to reply, Actually im coming as a tourist so can you help me that where i can find a good stay so that everything will be connected to me? And By any chance we can connect on Instagram? So can can gain more knowledge and information from you about Richmond
I was born and raised in Fairfax County and lived in Tennessee and Texas for a few years, my knowledge of Richmond is based off US history. Would Richmond be a bad place to live for an Indian American?
@@eashanahluwalia9599 The history of Richmond is lengthy and sometimes very dark BUT those days are behind us, and it’s becoming a very welcoming city of all types of people. There are always still ways to go with everything but you’ll find the people (especially young people) within the city accepting and very unique. One of the reasons I wanted to live there is because I’m a weird person and I felt I fit in in Richmond. The people who tend to gravitate towards Richmond are artists, creatives, progressives and people who want change. This of course is just my opinion and I’m a white woman with limited perspective on certain things, but I think you’d like it!
I grew up and currently live in NoVA but went to VCU and lived in Richmond for 5 years. I cannot wait to go back (and with a car this time haha) within the next 2 or so years!
I have lived in Richmond for 10 year and it get to be same old same old. Not that it is a bad city or not fun but not allot of variety and no beach near.
just came across this video looking up richmond but i just wanted to say the way that you film and edit your videos is amazing, very much like a TV show
You have no idea how much Richmond has changed and believe me, it's changed for the better. As long as the new folk come here and really want to add value and love Richmond the way we've been doing for years, it will continue to be an exciting place. We bought a home downtown and it's really the only place right now that is so exciting to live. I see that you went to Common House, a lovely addition to the neighborhood but remember, it's the PEOPLE that make the city.
Safety can be subjective but personally I have felt safe living here. It also depends where you live, travel to & what time etc. My neighbors and some of my friends are from here and say living here for them has felt safe, especially now.
Definitely safer than it was several decades back. It is a metropolitan area and everything that goes with that, including some gang activity at night in the shadier parts. That said, there's a wonderful sense of community here and people are typically very friendly
What video should I do next?😍💚👇
Whatever you choose, I'm hyped for it.
