948cc or 1098cc A-series engine? Not a good idea to idle one of these engines on choke as they do not need choke for long! How much are you asking for this car please or have you already sold it now, be courteous & respond please.
Total amatuers, as we no longer use chokes on a regular basis and forget to turn it off until it starts to rev high. My Dad would be turning in his grave. We sold it to a lovely man, who had owned one as his first car. Pretty sure it was a 948cc. Service manual refers to it as a Morris Minor 1000. Thanks for your enquiry.
