It was really hard to understand indeed. I was so confused when i jumped into the rabbit hole a few months ago.. and almost every time I had to read comments by ARMY to catch whatvI missed. This where the BU starts. 'Bangtan Universe'. BU is a fictional storyline that runs through few bts mvs. Its about the traumatic story of each member. 7 of them have their own story and suffering. Here 'Girl' doesn't mean a girl. Some might interpret as a love song (nothing wrong in interpreting that way) but here they're referring to their dreams, ambitions and happiness. This is a long story and involves lot of theories which are still being cracked till today. I would suggest you to watch 'Prologue stage and RUN' after this. Actually there are couple of BU explanation videos by Xceleste. You can watch it too. Remember sometimes the lyrics don't exactly represent the clips in the video. Cris s well the lyrics are not necessarily part of the storyline but it was also not intended to be specifically about a romantic relationship. BTS themselves have said that the original lyric was actually supposed to be something along the lines of “I need you friend” but it just didn’t flow as well lyrically/musically so that’s the reason why they had decided to change it

Not sure Spring Day should be considered storyline. It was a veiled critical and inspirational response to a real world event. That is why it is so beloved by South Koreans that it still charts. Other K pop groups might also have responded more forcefully if their Big 3 corporations management wasn't fearful of being blacklisted, but trust me they wanted to. Ultimately the administration that BTS, albeit tepidly but in plain sight, took on was removed from office. Let's promote this as a freestanding song worthy of the highest in accolade.

The whole concept is based on Herman Hesse 's demIan kinda like a twist of bts is in too. They all have gone through very painful past which u will learn after some time and it was shown that they kinda like regarded each other as their emotional support bcs they forget every kind of pain when they r together so that is y hobi was throwing his pills in the fire but it all changed after v did that mistake and it marked the point of no return for him . When he broke apart one by one each of them fell apart too.Then the happy moments are the memories they want to cherish and want to relive. BTW it was said long long ago the lyrics were suppose to be "I need you Friend" however it didnt work with the music so it was changed.

The music girl is subjective and represents the very important figures of each character:
RM - is a boy who tries to support his mother and siblings alone and is under pressure to be who he is not.
SUGA - lost his mother in a fire as a child and blames himself for it, getting various traumas.
JHOPE - foi abandonada por sua mãe em um parque infantil e desenvolveu narcolepsia que mais tarde foi descoberta como "Síndrome de Münchhausen".
JIMIM- went through an episode in "Arboredo" as a child near his school, and is attacked when he remembers the fact, his mother ashamed puts him in a hospital for several years.
JUNGKOOK- is a boy who ran away from home because of abuse of his father and brother who SUGA welcomes him but things do not go as planned.
V - lives in an abusive house the death of his mother where he can see his stepfather mistreat him and especially his sister.
JIN- and everyone's connection point and an important character for these stories can end.

Not sure Spring Day should be considered storyline. It was a veiled critical and inspirational response to a real world event. That is why it is so beloved by South Koreans that it still charts. Other K pop groups might also have responded more forcefully if their Big 3 corporations management wasn't fearful of being blacklisted, but trust me they wanted to. Ultimately the administration that BTS, albeit tepidly but in plain sight, took on was removed from office. Let's promote this as a freestanding song worthy of the highest in accolade.

Every song of BTS has meaning at it differs in each person. That's how bts mv's are. Even the this lyrics "I need you girl" seems to be a metaphor. This song is really about friendship. It's how they reminiscing their past with each other. Bts storyline is very complicated but fascinating. You should also react to Run after this. Then followed by Stigma, First love, Mama, Lie. The whole concept is based on Herman Hesse 's demIan kinda like a twist of bts is in too. They all have gone through very painful past which u will learn after some time and it was shown that they kinda like regarded each other as their emotional support bcs they forget every kind of pain when they r together so that is y hobi was throwing his pills in the fire but it all changed after v did that mistake and it marked the point of no return for him . When he broke apart one by one each of them fell apart too.Then the happy moments are the memories they want to cherish and want to relive. It is a story of deep sorrow,despair,psychological,emotional pain and deep friendship. In bSt it was shown that v became fallen angel he made a deal with u know and lead each of them to death . They tried to save each other but couldn't. Jin was the saviour that made the deal with v for letting everyone go by kissing the statue that is y his face cracked and after that the journey loving yourself before anything else starts. Yeah there is time travel too so iI is best if u watch the analysis of the mvs bcs what I gave is a rough description so watch this for deeper understanding.
The most beautiful moment in life series is about 'wasted youth'. What they each go through in their own lives but when theu come together its happiness they are no longer alone. They can fight through anything. But there are different theorizes about the mvs meanings.

I think the girl is a metaphor for each the members. They need each other to be happy. When they are a lone they are sad and going through tough times but when they are together, they are happy.

Here are just several tips when attempting to follow the story (of Bangtan Universe). Don't take the song lyrics literally. BTS/BigHit made sure to make people think beyond the surface - that is if you want to follow the story. Also, always remember there are 7 of them, so 7 storylines that will lead you to understand the Bangtan Universe (BU) universe. The storylines are for sure connected though. How they are connected is what you want to pay really close attention to - it's the juice of the story so to speak. Also, as many have mentioned before me - hints to the story are even peppered in Making of the videos - Bighit would throw in some clips (sometimes even in the credit rolls) that are actually part of the storyline. I love how you guys said you pay attention to details and what goes on on the MV. Oh, you guys are in for a treat . Friendly advise though, you need to pay more close attention to details . You wouldn't understand it in 1 or 2x of watching. As you progress on the MV's story line, the more it gets deeper so pay close attention to details and even the smallest ones coz their MV's tends to give symbolism that holds.deeper meaning as what the message of certain MV actually tell. It is more the the visual and definitely more than the song lyrics itself. You also might see that some of the Lyrics of the song doesn't really connect with the MV, itself, that's alright, coz it actually isn't. That's why I'm telling you guys, you need to brainstorm into this one. Every MV the more you watch the deeper it gets. Alot of ARMYs had chall3nge themselves mentally juss to understand the story line. It might give you some ''wtf！？' " moments and some headaches here and there, but you'll be fine. The story line is still on going so I woyld really like you guys to catch up and manage to get the right understandingcof it. The genuis behind BTS's music and MV's. Don't worry ARMY's will guide you guys through out your journey, Once you JimIN, you can never JimOUT. Get ready you guys, it can get mental . ☺️ do not get mislead by the lyrics too.
