They were so close to having the perfect band this year. Only thing missing was that upper brass. Hopefully next year they will have a stronger mellophone and trumpet section

This IS a treat! I went to the game and of course MB Stadium is huge, you have to be sitting near or directly across from the band to avoid the echoes.

Yea, I don't think they got the recognition they deserved this season. I saw folks saying they weren't sounding off but 4 tenors sounding like that with 9 basses & 6 quints is very respectable.

Yea, had to move, would've just been video of me walking up the bleachers If I didn't cut it out. JSU Bands Channel has what I missed in their video, they only played for another 45 second then cut off. Got some video of them Marching out uploading now though.

they don't at all. You really have to listen to the song. the 4:58 mark is literally the tuba key change and the Tubas are doubling up on the notes. Some are playing higher register and some are playing lower register. I havn't heard any band do this. The 4:58 mark requires you to have a singers ear to know that there isn't a mess up. The tubas are playing at 2 different pace. Please stop commenting if you can't hear whats going on in the music. It's not the bands fault if viewers don't have a musical ear.
