Thanks Steve, going to pick up a 2009- R1200RT with 26,000 miles in the next day or two and this will be a great help. Just picked up the OBD-2 scan tool and cable adapter. I'll be checking out this bike because it has a couple of check engine codes on it. But the price is right. Wish me luck.
thx for this Steve...your instructions at 4:25 helped me solve a connection issue...the Motoscan app wouldn't connect to my OBDlink LX until I selected it as you did in the app settings. I assumed it would auto connect (which it didn't) once the device was paired with my phone.
Thanks for the very helpful Motoscan tutorials. Do you know what the numeric codes indicate for these details associated with a trouble code 5DF4: Signal or value above threshold (01), Test conditions met (10), Error no longer present, but already stored (30), and Fault would not cause a warning lamp to illuminate (30)? I can't find any Motoscan documentation that explains these numeric values. Thanks.
Good Video and i'm curious to see if you can activate the ASC(13) with motoscan. BMW shops do not add TPS anymore probably because their mechanics do not know how to install it. 🤣😂
Hi, you can also let the tire temperture show (T) just like the pressure (P) with motoscan and the gripheater icon when you put it on. It is a little bit different for the models up to 2010 or after. But on both models it will work.
@@SteveHarleyTours You have go in to the app to ... combi.... then coding.. then go to heaterswitch and change from switch to button Then press coding and use the heater switch .If it doesnt work repeat procedure and try again . Tyre temp also you have to look it up in the app and press activate and coding. Then press the info button 1=clock 2= psi (p) 3 = temp (t) this is for the 2010 + . Gs before 2010 have slightly different icon. I'll see it on your next video 😉 regards
@@SteveHarleyTours Because a few months ago I repaired the sensors but now again they no longer communicate the pressure with the yellow light coming on, I would like to disable them until the next tire change only. Thank you so much!
Glad I found this and will be watching and saving.
Thank you, enjoy
Thanks for these videos. Made the process of resetting the dates and checking fault codes very easy.
Glad to help, thanks !!!!!

Can it access the ABS pump for bleeding the brakes? Afharisto.
Yes you can but I don't have a procedure, you need to search online for that , thanks 👍
@@SteveHarleyTours Thank you for your reply. I'll do some more research, I know the GS-911 can do it but not this one.
did you try with the ultimate motoscan?
Hi Steve, with moto scan ultimate version, is it possible to disable rdc sensors forever?
Yes but why?

have no idea, thanks

what about us Apple users?
Don't know hope is working 😸
$200 bucks later and I still can't get my service light turned off. This didn't work for me.
Is your bike listed,? It works well for us!
