You are FAR. From morbid ,you are easy to listen to and very knowledgeable about what you put out..I am 69 years old. My dad was in WW2 but never wanted to talk about it.. If you ever get to montana and need some info. Please just let me know.....FRANK from montana.
I'm glad you talked about this because it has been passed around over the years that sobel wasn't really liked however a lot of them said that his training kept them alive and they even tried to invite him to reunions but he would never come
@@ClancyWoodard-yw6tg I’m so glad you watched this. I loved making this episode and I am sad it doesn’t get many views. I even changed the thumbnail and it didn’t help. Please share it with anyone you think might enjoy it! Sobel’s story has always been sad to me. I think he was probably an extremely unhappy person. Even his life after the war seemed unhappy. I still have so many questions about how he could die of malnutrition. I want to know what happened there.
@MMorbid at one point he even tried to kill himself and I think what happened with sobel is when he lost command of easy company it really messed with him mentally and he never really recovered from it
This video is AWESOME , young lady !! The amount of information you put forward in this video is incredible ! I now know why you. Don't put out more videos the amount of information takes a long time to compile. Thank you Frank from montana... PS watched to the end. ! Can't wait for the next video to come out.......
I don’t know how to half ass anything and can get a little obsessive about my topics, lol. Thank you so much for the great compliments. I’m going to tackle something a bit smaller next time (maybe) I thought this one would be short.
James Harry (Jimmy) Nelson was my cousin. The only time I met him was at a family gathering in Macomb, Mo. in 1961. His father and my father were brothers. His father was an electrician and was electrocuted in 1943. I knew Jimmy Nelson was a paratrooper in WW2 but I didn't know his history.
Did you just stumble on this or is it being passed around the family? Just curious. I’m glad you found it nonetheless and hope you liked it. One thing I didn’t include is he used to say that not once in his life did he ever land in an airplane. He always jumped.
Thank you so much for the encouragement. I was very proud of this episode and I hope it catches on at some point. It deserves to be seen. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Fantastic choice ..I watched till the end.. so much respect in how you articulate all the names throughout.. Super fan here!
Thank you so, so much! Your support means the world to me.
Wonderful and beautiful ending God Bless them
We’ll done, another great job !
