Thank you for doing this, but you might really want to catch the babies and put them with their mother, and try to interact with them as little as possible so that they don't habituate towards people any more than absolutely necessary. You can't watch over them constantly, and if they're left out on their own without their mother, they're easy pickings for other animals, even other male foxes, if there are any around (and there probably are).
You are right; for safety, babies should stay with theyr mom.

They should stay wary to humans unless you adopt them and raise.
However, I praise you for giving them some food and help the mother when necessary.
Maybe you should keep letting them have some cautious mind "why this human is giving us food?"
The neighbours probably can't hear you and your back yard is so lush and protected they wouldn't even know the fox family is there. Keep doing you. If anything they will hide from everyone except you. Keep feeding them they look like they are thriving and Mom will be as good as new. Great updates!!

Hi. Thanks for what you are doing. I think the smallest fox is a female and the other a male. Thats what i thought first time you meet them. I think next time you come to the littles, just try to seat down (this way you ll be "smaller" to them), and just let them come . Do not try to feed them first, just let them come to you. Keep going what you do. You do good
Now that the little fox not run away but come to you close. It should be easy to touch them. However the way you tried was not correct.
You should approach from below touch and rub their nose and lower body first. Because your hand above their head is more threatening. Since they can't see what's in your hand and what you want to do.
This is almost same to a lot of animals. I had the experience with my cat. From below not above that they can see your hands and movement. Try this way I guarantee you succeed.
How much or what's best-ever you feed them but those small beautiful creatures never be your closeness (like other animals) and refuse your Mastery as pet! That's the Pride of Foxes lives. Nevertheless, nonetheless can boundaries them as this their natural survival instincts gotten into their DNA!

I think it's not a wild fox and cubs. this is a domestic fox, because they are much more aggressive wild and you can't get their love for food.
