    Excellent wisdom, thanks Martin. I had a really green one recently that I over bent (for where that horse was in it's ability). The horse got carless with its feet and ended up dropping the hind end to the ground in some mud. Rolled the cantle over my shin. Shin is intact but it was a painful lesson: doubling can be overdone, especially for a horse that has not learned to balance. I would say that a green horse that has not learned to place its feet with balance could be over bent at a lower speed than an experienced one.

    I just love when horse trainers make something simple sound so complicated so that they can appear far more advanced than the people they are trying to sell to.
