The licenses are really expense, so unless the devs have ALOT of money I don't think they will get the licenses unfortunately
I personally don't like it. I just loved the old game and having all the Godzilla kaiju in the game. I'm not mad at the devs ofc. It's not their fault. But I am mad at Toho. There was literally no reason at all for them to do what they did.

Ironically enough, the coolest kaiju in ku at the moment is the crab since it is an original kaiju with a unique moveset. This is also looking like an edgy creatures of sonaria

You should have a look at the Minecraft mod “prehistoric nature” it has over 800 prehistoric animals from the pre-cambrian all the way to the Jurassic at the moment the Jurassic is still being worked on so yea but they are going until the present day the creatures are as accurate as they can be within the restrictions of Minecraft and they will update animals and there models if new research comes out on them with noticeable differences

KU easily introduces a good portion of the godzilla community to godzilla, i feel like toho should give them the license, because it literally grew the community alot
I mean such a small roblox game wouldnt effect godzilla that much considering the scale of the godzilla brand. So it makes sense why toho would want to profit off these small creators.
The amount of growth and profit Toho would make off this wouldn't be nearly as much as you would think as games like this being in a small number of people to the godzilla brand compared to other ventures then you have to take out the people who are playing it who are already godzilla fans and the ones who just play this game and don't consume any other toho media
That said I would still like to see them legally acquire a license

I do really hope people dont just abandon the game now. The models and overall quality is still really good and I honestly like the models and moves of the creatures they have so far for their comeback.
I can almost guarantee you that 3/4 of the fan base will stop playing. really unfortunate for the devs but that’s just how it is. also the designs of these kaijus are really strange and most people probably won’t be too interested in them

Cleric Muto/Moonlight Beast is super strong.
He uses up his energy in 8 basic swings BUT regens stamina at 25 per tic.
Last night i killed another cleric in just those 8 basic hits.
Also the new gamemodes are under the the maps u try to spawn in on the main menu screen

I love the designs of the kaiju with their ultraman-esque style
The crab is brand new but three old kaiju were reskinned.
Specifically Gigan, Mr Muto and Megalon, the latter of which being who Beaver used.
Lucanus cervus, a stag beetle, is not the what the reskinned muto is actually, I thought that at first too.
It’s actually an elephant beetle.
Beaver really loves playing this game again, oh my God 🤣🤣🤣 And happy Beaver content is best Beaver content! So woo!

beaver, how about you check out the new map on kaiju universe, exploring it would take up an entire video in itself! just select your kaiju, click play and before you select tokyo go down below all the spawn locations and click "gamemode" it will pop up a menu, click "new map" and your playing the new map with updated buildings and new super cool features including water gravity, whenever your swimming as a non flying kaiju and hit the surface you slowly fall back into the water and a buch of other really fu stuff

Nut cracker, moon beast and voodon still hav the same modle and desighn from before bc they are holiday kaiju
Malacive (used to be gigan)
Ablecross (used to be megalon)
Carimoch (used to be male muto)
And theyvwill be adding 2 kaiju a week that are redesigns of old kaiju that were in the game before, and everyone who had them will kerp them and their level

Well when I was playing as akatsume 5 of those mantis like things (idk how is their name) were trying to kill me,I jumped into water and started fighting somehow I won.
I think it's even cooler with the custom-made kaijus, but again, its not the same without the old kaijus.
