GD composes and is involved in all Bigbang songs, there is no Bigbang song that GD hasn't been involved in, that's why is the main producer of the group.
There are songs that GD composed like "if you", but there are also other songs that he makes working with other composers like teddy, choice37, Dee.p, Pk, etc. These are "composing partners" and GD has worked with them
They reallly know how to make you feel the emotion . This song makes you cry over a lost love even if you are happy married with your first love
One of the Most unique thing about Bigbang is that their live performances are better then their MVs. And whenever they perform they change the style and make songs bit more interesting.
Their live performances are never boring. One song can have too many versions every live performance.
Gd writes and composes all of BB songs.

If I were to talk about BIGBANG, I'd be rambling about them endlessly. 😁
The group made our general (Korean) population appreciate idols for the first time. Yes, there were other known and impressive idols before them. But once they came, the group began a revolution. They shook the system and our conservative culture, then set the bar too high.
And yes, the group writes and compose their music. They were the first rookie idol to do that. G-Dragon is their biggest contributor in the group. The man earns almost $1M of royalties a year. That's something new in the idol industry. And a few next generation idols are trying to follow his footsteps.
A bit of history:
Before and during BIGBANG's early years, idols were managed like robots/barbie dolls (many are still being managed that way today). Most idols can't 100% control their music, concepts or their life, especially if you're young and new to the industry. Most are required to pass the beauty standards. Funny part is, BIGBANG didn't pass that. YG, their company use to choose talent and charm before pretty faces. They didn't became as successful as other companies but they survive. Eventually, the company made their biggest success through BIGBANG.
I am very new of BIGBANG and heard few of their songs and now start to digging because they are incredible AMAZINGGG. I 1st hearing Taeyang VIBE collabs with Jimin and literally falling in luv with his heavenly vocals. ❤

Bigbang is kinda timeless, that's why there is so much continued loyalty from listeners. Its some of the highest peaks that kpop has reached. Which is also partially why newer kpop boy groups gets judged so harshly by the korean public. In the back of their minds, they probably keep comparing them to Bigbank (and BTS)

GD once said this is the saddest bigbang song he ever wrote. IF YOU is from MADE album which is all the song have an mv, but this one dont have MV cus to show how sad it is. even two rapper didn't rapping on this song. they even record early in the morning to get a natural raspy voice

In KPOP, BIGBANG is actually known as the KINGS OF LIVE VOCALS or LIVE STAGES and one of those artists that can pull off the EATING CDs thing. Can sound the same as in CD during live. That's why VIPs, BIGBANG Fandom, prefer their live performances than the mv. Coz they can sound like the track but better.
And yeah, GDRADON is the main composer/writer of BIGBANG songs. Other members also write or contribute in writing the group songs or their own songs in their solo albums. Yes, BIGBANG members are actually successful solo artists when the group is on hiatus. ☺️
This is my favourite song from bigbang and this is on my daily playlist... eventhough i am not bigbang fans but i really like all their ballad or slower song coz it really show their vocal characteristic and tone and i love it... but not for the upbeat one as i am really into ballad abd slower song. Just so u know, they're BIG, BIG esp in Korea 👊🏻 and WELL RESPECTED.
If you love this song, you must listen to Last Dance. It was the last song they made before TOP went into the military. But they have made songs from every genre. You should listen to songs like "We Like to Party", and Sober and the Live versions are even better........... these are their more upbeat songs.........and lastly try Fantastic Baby which came out in 2012 and was another Iconic Big Bang song. If you want to listen to where they started from Try "Lies", "Last Farewell" or "Haru Haru"................If you want something really fast and upbeat listen to Gara Gara Go and "Top of the World".

When we say bigbang produce and write songs it doesn't mean credit somewhere in long list they are main producer half of time and gd is only writer of entire song for lot of songs. Their credits for song is either 1st place or second. It's not just they dabble a little bit.
