Guys the reason he made this suit is because someone managed to make an ironman suit that wasn't made by Tony when tony saw this he realized that they were catching up to him so he decided to make the ultimate suit
(It's so annoying when you have something unique and suddenly someone has it too)
Personally, I quite liked the Samurai armour. It was like a symbol of the kind of quirky armour Tony was prepared to make in order to take care of any situation. I hope we see more different, quirky armours in the future too.

The Bendis Iron Man is fantastic! Having only seen an issue of this arc, I was happy to see a lot of the little details get included, as this is such a character driven story (though many other details need to get cut for concision).
If you're going to do older Iron Man stuff, maybe consider the classic Invincible Iron Man run (Five Fears and World's Most Wanted come to mind).

When I first read the story with Thor being Tony's wing goddess I nearly shot my drink out of my mouth.

I watch these videos and I'm even less convinced that All New All Different Marvel is the "perfect jump in point". The story is cool and everything, but there's so much backstory to it that I, personally, don't know because I haven't gotten around to reading Marvel Comics yet. Guess I'll start from Marvel Now instead of ANAD Marvel.

I may be reading too much into it but having the suit go into samurai mode shows the reader it can adapt to almost any situation, Samurai's are the opposite of ninjas, so to go samurai when fighting ninja's is kind of symbolic in a way and shows his suit had a huge variety of modes, wonder what modes we will see next? overall i think its a breath of fresh air on tonys suit.

Zombiekllr Games ffirst, Vibranium is hella expensive and hard to get, even for him. Second, he upgrades his armor so frequently. If his suit was made of the stuff, he can't actually attach new stuff to it since it's impossible to change shape after it sets.
That's adamantium that can't change after being formed.
Yeah about that.....caps shield is actually one of the most unique and weird objects in the marvel universe. So much so that Molecule Man, one of the more cosmic heavy hitters who can literally manipulate the molecular level, can't even make heads or tails of it.
3rd of all captain americas shield is made of both and a 3rd unknown metal...thats why he can't make it out of caps shieldbdo to the fact he doesn't know exactly what its made of

Dang this current Iron Man suit is pretty rad. It's abilities are epic and the suit's design looks classic but sleek.
