Hope you guys enjoy a nice, relaxed video of drawing some Carnivores dinosaurs! Be sure to let me know what you'd think of this as a potential new series. And thank you all so much for 10,000 subscribers! I am truly honored by your encouragement and support. Much love to you all!
Again like last time, I haven’t even watched the whole thing. But I gotta say, I really like your art styles for traditional and digital! My own art is decent but I would love to learn how to do something like your’s, a different type of detailing a dinosaur’s body (Or other extinct creatures.) And i’d love to see a series of these, your art style is unique and very nicely detailed :)
A surprise to be sure, but a truly welcome one! Your are a phenomenal artist, Saurian, and your art-style is so clean yet detailed, and fits the Carnivores-feel perfectly! I am definitely on-board and hyped for the future of this series. I am especially interested in witnessing your take of the Carnivores 2 Spinosaurus. Given that the Spined Lizard boasts a pretty-accurate design for its time, and especially compared with most of the bulky retrosaurs and Jurassic Park-inspired carnosaurs, it will be interesting to see where you take its re-design.
Oh I’m definitely looking forward to this as a new series! Drawing/Sketching/Painting has always been a favorite of mine. I’m really looking forward to seeing your drawings on the Triassic creatures. Especially the Postosuchus.
This was really fun to watch,I would say that this was relaxing. Your narration perfectly summed up my thoughts about carnivores dinosaurs. Hope to see more
These are amazing! I love your style, its kinda soft, but you don't loose any important details. Super unique i must say! Honestly, i'd love to see you take on some species currently not present in any games or otherwise related to carnivores, to see what your take on a Canon-flavored variant of whatever the creature in question would be like. Keep up the amazing work, love all your vids!
When i joined the Carnivores franchise, I awlays wondered why didn't they make a book from example Carnivores 2 or on some of the mods. It'd be thrilling :D
Personally I would’ve given the allosaurus a Red crest one that is a similar color to the stegosaurus’s plates But everything else is just perfect these drawings are amazing.
@@SaurianTarget It‘s a pipedream, but I‘m currently working on a paleontology book and could need an illustrator. Who knows, maybe fate will make us meet again
My god watching this video (and the other ones where you feature drawings) during an art block is always therapeutic to me, your art style is this odd balance between lineless and sort of hard lined, which is so odd and intriguing. I had to say this cause i gotta let you know youre helping motivate me to get up and start drawing creatures like crazy
Hey Saurian that's Sick !! I Realy Liked your Draws, they Just give Life in a Wonderfull Way for the Already beatiful Creatures populating the World of Carnivores. I Aprove your Series !
Oh man, this is such a fantastic idea! I've always wanted to get Procreate for that handy recording option, but I don't have an iPad so it's not really an option for me. But, let me say, your art has improved so much over the years, it's incredible! I will be forever envious of that meticulous lineart, it looks amazing, and your colouring, shading and detailing is just incredibly realistic! Seriously, you have one of the best looking art styles of anyone I know, I'm in love with this. Can't wait to see more videos like this!
I hope they create a mod were the dinosaurs R modeled after The Rite of Spring segment from Fantasia. Because that's how I pictured them if another reboot ever happens.😁
I really dig this new series! I love your interpretation on each one, though I do agree Anky could use an update. I think the squamate body and rhino legs can work if you mess around with the proportions a bit, but I would be interested in seeing a second go at this dino.
Somehow, every interpretation I have seen of the Carnivores Stegosaurus just always ends up being better than the last one I’ve seen, which is ironic because of the Carnivores designs, Stegosaurus is one of my least favorites (I’m more of a fan of Knight’s Green, long tailed, 8 Spiked Behemoth). But yours take the cake. It’s just absolutely beautiful. I look forward to seeing how you interpret the other animals of the games, maybe even the ones of Ice Age?
I really like this new series and I hope you continue it. I would like to see you create some art that includes the hunter character as well as maybe certain scenarios that may happen on FMM UV-32 such as encounters with a hunting party and some of the wildlife. I have often looked at famous hunting art professionals have made and reimagined them in a Carnivores setting. I have to say I really enjoy your art and ideas very much and find them inspiring for me to consider making my own. I will have to remember the program you use. Though I must admit it has been tricky figuring out the specific coloring and the details on the skin patterns for the dinosaurs, such as the Allosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus in particular.
I really like your stego, probably because it's big and chunky xD and for the ankylo I would make it's tail thicker. When I draw, the lineart sometimes may look really realistic but when it comes to coloring it looks weird, so i just leave it on the white background. But for now I prefer to draw my dinos more cartoony so they match my coloring lol.
@@SaurianTarget I already found my own art style that I use most of the time drawing :) When it comes to drawing dinosaurs I also have a unique style for them but when I experiment with drawing them it's just hard to pick one because I like every dino design or at least a huge portion of them, I have never found myself saying "This dino looks ugly" so I can easly get stuck on just a sketch and I also quite suck at coloring (or when I have a finished lineart, the dino is propably cartoony, but it's still easier for me to color cartoony stuff).
as an artist who's fallen out of fashion, this kind of video is great, I love to hear what the thought process behind a piece is as well as the piece itself IE inspiration from not only carnivores but real life influences which embody the creature well. a video you can do here and there seems to suit you too, so while I look forward to these, don't feel rushed! my favorite of the bunch so far is the allosaurus, how you said it sums it up perfectly, just a generic theropod. in carnivores its design seemed very metal and agitated to suit its character, while your interpretation is much more timid and cautious almost.
I love your art and the one for dinomber contest (sorry if the speeling is incorrect), tatem really needs to take inspiration from this. Speaking of Tatem are you in contact with Andrey?
Can’t wait to see your depictions of the Ice Age, Triassic, Mandibles, Fallen Kings, A New World, Far North and C+ animals in the future!!! Again will you please give me a download link to that Velociraptor skin?
Really cool I love the sort of ''these are aliens that look like dinosaurs probably'' idea that the series was hinting at. or at least it could have as an explanation for it's dinosaurs being very far from reality even for the known science of the time, especially things like the Pachy, Dimorphodon and Ankylosaurs for clear examples. As might be clear I'd really love to see your Dimorphodon at some point.
You’re really talented with digital art, I’m really digging those design choices you made! Personally, I’d like to see the Ankylosaurus reimagined similar to Charles Knights own interpretation, that would be pretty cool. I feel like the Allosaurus was loosely based off of Ray Harryhausen’s own Allosaurus from 1 Million B.C. Or the Valley Of Gwangi.
I really appreciate it! With this series I'm gonna stick as close to the Action Forms designs as I can, but I might do a follow-up series reimagining the Carnivores dinosaurs more based on Knight's artwork...
I wish you uploaded more on Deviantart, I love your art style. I'd also love to commission you. I plan on drawing my own dinosaurs in the Carnivores style.

As always thanks for the great content!
Thank you! I use the same art program to make the thumbnails. I'll pose a dinosaur in a model viewing program (with multiple angles and views if necessary), then cut out and stitch together the parts to get it in the pose I want (if there's no specific animation that does that for me). Then I just splice them all together, add some extra effects (depth of field, shadows, etc.) and I'm done!
