    Rondo is a championship point guard. He just doesn't have a championship team. This became evident when the celtics battled the heat to game 7 in 2012. That was an awesome series.

    The Celtics were my favorite team for several years up until Ray left, they had so many good players those 4 or so years. Rondo, Allen, Pierce, KD, Shaq, Perkins, Sheed, Nate Robinson etc, they were so much fun to watch.

      Rondo's stats per 36 minutes: 12.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 10.6apg. The only thing he REALLY needs is to be healthy and in rythym,but allstar teammates would also help.

    2:57 - 3:13 will be my favorite part of this entire season..Glad to see KG goofing off with Rondo still. Miss The Truth and The Big Ticket…Wish Danny Ainge wasn't so money ignorant and greedy, wishing us to fail so we can get better players in. He should've just let Paul and KG retire in green, and then move on….Cut it way too early..

    • @jacksonellis3150
      @jacksonellis3150 10 років тому +10

      It wasn't so much about getting bad to get good 'tanking', it was more about not letting KG and Paul go through a rebuild, and sending them to a potential contender, because they deserved another shit at the chip

    • @nickpluntke2014
      @nickpluntke2014 10 років тому +5

      That wasn't it at all….Danny Ainge started the rebuild early. Even said it in a press conference. He was even considering trading Rondo because he knew his competitiveness wouldn't allow them to have an atrocious record. He sent Paul and KG away trying to get something if anything (We got nothing for the trade) for them before they retired. He's a god awful GM, he has no idea about Celtic pride regardless that he played for us. I cannot stand him.

    • @peiyuzhou
      @peiyuzhou 10 років тому +4

      What Ainge did was a very rational decision, 3 draft picks+a ton of bad contracts is worth much more than 2 very old HOFs + a Jason Terry, considering the value of draft picks in today's league. Look how bad Brooklyn is now, fighting for a mid tier playoff spot with virtually no championship hope while having already mortgaged their future to the Celtics. At least we know that the current mediocrity is temporary and we will be back to dominating the league in a few years given our crop of young talent and stash of draft picks. The only sad thing is seeing KG and Pierce in Brooklyn colors. :(

    • @nickpluntke2014
      @nickpluntke2014 10 років тому +1

      Yea but man, those draft picks are sooooooo late….2nd and 3rd round!? I would've been fine if they were mid 1st…..Ya know? But I see where you're coming from. I just wish they could've retired in green. Hopefully they can get a little contract to come back and play at least one more game at The Garden….It just won't be the same though if they hadn't been traded...

    • @peiyuzhou
      @peiyuzhou 10 років тому

      Hopefully Brooklyn will be crap in a few years( as their stars age) and we get good picks. Think of it this way, if The Truth and The Big Ticket were still here, we would be fighting for a low playoff spot, which is No Man's Land. Currently, we are in a good position for a good first round pick, with players like Sullinger and Bradley developing nicely, in a few years we will have cap space, young talent and draft picks. Sounds familiar? 2007-2008? Allen? KG? Remember the situation then?

    What I don't get is how a 6'1 PG coming off of an ACL injury causing him to miss almost a full year can average more rebounds than Jeff Green who is one of the most explosive players in all of the NBA. Sometimes it looks like he's not really trying hard enough, if he really gave some effort he could be a top SF in the league and an all-star for years to come.

    • @KMeade
      @KMeade 10 років тому +1

      I was thinking that same thing. And it's more ridiculous because Rondo's not even back to being how he was before the injury.

    • @KDR95
      @KDR95 8 років тому

      Are you actually happy with that...I'm a die hard bulls fan and I see Rando as a true point guard in the league passing and scoring with highs and lows. But he lets his emotions out to much an u don't think he is a good combo with wade and Butler. Thats just me though I feel like this season we will have a hard time if he doesn't control his emotions.... ALSO we have a new coach which is another foolish decision by our dumb ass GM

    • @KDR95
      @KDR95 8 років тому

      The Truth Wow, you're mature learn how to understand a opinion child. Plus the season hasn't started so I could be wrong, but you look and sound like a dumbass.

    • @KDR95
      @KDR95 8 років тому

      The Truth You're a idiot it's official, i was questioning whether rondo would preform well with the bulls. I don't know if you know this but he tends to let his attitude get out of hand. Also he has given up on two teams, aka Mavericks, and Kings. If you are a bulls fan which (I highly doubt) you would worry like I am. Bulls having a new superstar D.Wade even in his old age may or may not perform well with Butler, wade did it once I'm not worried. But Rondo has a hard time sharing fame it took Celtics a bit to get cooking. But Bulls will do to what it takes to win coming up short against Cavs seeing how bull are one of the few teams to contest them. You sir, are a idiot simple as that. You are a rondo fan that's obvious you want him to have a good season not the team he is on. You are seeing this through fanboy goggles which is ok i do it sometimes as well. But see the whole picture it can be beautiful not one spec of a paint stroke on it

    • @stealthkaizer

      Rondo works well with the second unit. He's better with McDermott, Mirotic, Valentine, and Felicio.

    Overall good game but those 6 TOs just stick out like a sore thumb. I guess that won't be for long though because Kobe was averaging a high number of turnovers this season aswell, that means it's normal.
