I've used these, and now have two BCS and a Howard Gem. If you're starting out poor, these old rigs can be a necessity, but in the long run, *nothing* belt or chain drive will equal something with internal gear drive and power take off.

Great vid! Yeah these things pretty much revolutionized many third world countries. In Cambodia they used bigger ones 4 farm work and transportation. Allowing 20 people to jump on a trailer and go to the market all at once. Pretty cool

Looks particularly useful if you were trying to plant vegetables between 60" double corn rows.

Higher diameter wheels are available for BCS for straddling rows.

I have both this same simplicity, and a David Bradley super 3. I only have the mower for the simplicity though.
Most of these have a 1" axle, which you can find extensions for, you just swap the hubs onto them. And you can adjust them for almost any width

Since these older tools can be harder to find, there are wheel extensions and larger wheels available for them to use some of the same type implements. I'd love to see more 2 wheel tractors available but for now bcs has a lot of them out there available in more areas.

on the simplicity tractors the wheels can be flipped around for the wider beds ..... also if you want a inexpensive , quality 2 wheel tractor you will need to look to asia . what they are making and using , makes the bcs stuff look like a child toy

Where did you find the finger weeders? Can you get any other new implements for these tool bars? I have a David Bradley walk behind and have been wanting to expand the implements that I have. I also greatly appreciate you putting out these videos, they have been extremely helpful.

so with my model W simplicity 2 wheel tractors , the wheels can be flipped around to give a much wider stance , i suspect wide enough for a 30 inch bed or very close

Great video, I love the two wheel tractors, I have a couple David Bradleys. Check out "Wagner Farms" in Rome New York, they are reproducing a number of tools for the two wheel tractors.

    Nice
I have a simplicity as well.
I cannot get the cultivator to quit pulling to one side.
    Any ideas?

Can we modify a Mantis gas tiller with a rear toolbar for cultivation and seeding like a Planet Junior Tuffy?

Anything with a braided cable drive is junk- consumer stuff at best.

Can you just cultivate with a tiller?

The Choremaster one wheel tractors are pretty hard to come by, but would be awesome for path management and single wheel hoe work. I've been on the hunt for one for a few years now.

@@TheKlink I've considered it, the Solus V2 is an electric modern equivalent, but I think there's room for improvement.

My cultivator does not have wheels
I wonder if that would make a difference in helping it stay straight?
