Give us the option to:
•Practice with friends
•Turn on visual hitbox/hurtbox in practice
•frame data fir each move
•true gapless combo counter in practice
•save states (like sf6&tekken8)
• LET US CHANGE THE INPUT WINDOW (this is common standard)
•private 1v1 rematches, the loser should be able to switch characters (Again common in fgc/esports.)
You can definitely have private 1v1 matches with your friends

They’re considering speeding the game up again, but idk, I feel like you’re right because before it was harder to punish people. A lot of the top players just spammed whatever moves without downsides

I steady be using all my stamina doing boost jumps because my muscle memory lol but overall I enjoy it much more now, I enjoyed the movement and craziness of the beta but I could never take it serious because disadvantage state was a coin toss and there wasn't any nuance it was just about being quick and using busted hitboxes lol.

I, in general, really like knowing WHY something is done, and so hearing you explain the use scenarios and why it works is great. Dudes literally asked for the game to be slower.
Superman dodging around the stage faster than assassins while being invulnrable for half that time was the most common complaint during the beta.
I don't remember nobody asking for the game to be slower and if they did I'm pretty sure they didn't mean this slow if you gotta play this slow your just bad in general not you but whoever prefers to play in super slow motion 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

@AnthanKrufix slower doesn't equal harder, brawl is slower than melee but it's not harder. Speed makes it harder because there's less time to react, which is why in melee you'll likely get crushed uncontested vs a pro whereas in ultimate you have more of a chance to take a stock vs a pro cause it's slower and moves are safer (which actually makes it more spammy even though it's a slower game).
There is a middle ground where it doesn't have to be spammy but also doesn't have to play like you're underwater, so I don't know why so many people like yourself keep commenting as though you can't change it without reverting back to dodge spamming?
Then why didn't they...nerf...nerf superman?

The game speed is definitely fine as is, anyone considering "quitting the game" can easily be replaced by new players who are seasoned FG players. Beta game was just nonsense dodge spamming and was literally impossible to commentate during Tourneys.
For real bruh the fact some characters like shaggy literally had an infinite combo because of the dodge spamming was straight garbage game feels a lot better now and anyone who wants the og speed back just want to dodge spam again cause they have horrible disadvantage
It's like people forgot how painfully unfun 1v1 used to be. Also, I've noticed that a ton of the people that are the most critical about the speed are the ones that barely touched the beta (I know this cause they also complain about unlocking characters. If you played the beta, you should already have all the characters you want unlocked.)

@@dylanstephenson3892 That's not true though, I had every charecter unlocked and now there gone, could be transfer issue or something though and I loved 1v1s I did think the dodging was overtuned but they added a meter, so why make everything slower as for "skill" I was top 200 in the beta now since everyone's so slow it's incredibly easy to just pick harley or bugs and 0-death people with like 2 reads, doesent feel rewarding at all
I'm sure a lot of experienced players don't wanna hear this, but for me, as a VERY new player in the world of fighting games, especially platform fighters, the slowness feels good, because it lets me keep up with the action and learn.

There needs to be a balance and meet half way that would be perfect in my opinion, the speed wasn’t the problem it was the dash spam.
You can still speed the game up and keep the current dodge nerfs.
Dodge-spamming was a real issue, but they fixed that. Then they ALSO made the gameplay slower, regardless of dodges.

It went from Bayonetta speed to Dark Souls. Complexity didn't change, it just feels sluggish because you're expecting the old speed. Played a bit more today and it felt better
It feels better and better the more you play. I thought Arya was ass at first but I just adjusted to the speed and started utilizing her entire kit. She’s still cracked in the right hands.
I was super worried about the speed going into it, but it still feels very fast. I’m happy with it

I like the slower speed, much better foundation for a more skill based game. People was too fast to judge the game. With that said the Tutorial part is really lacking, the beta tutorials was way more comprehensive.

I think the game is more fun now than it was in beta.
Cant mindlessly dodge, it's more fun to watch 2v2 and even perk selection is more interesting.
I thought they "ruined" my favorite character, but I humbled myself and relearned them and realized they just took out a lot of their cheese lol
Yup same, was so mad when I loaded Harley up…then realized they just changed not ruined characters
Same I thought Arya was ass but she is still really really good, you just have to play smart and utilize her whole kit to win in the neutral game.
Her combos are a bit inconsistent but I still find myself laddering people in every game.

At first I didn’t like the new speed too, but im appreciating it now, it really feels better after you get used to it because it’s not just a guessing game anymore. I hope they don’t change it

It was a lesson indeed and I applied it to the best of my ability and will continue to practice this, still struggling with the iad or Ida or whatever it is lol maybe thats why I can't get it

Where my gizmo mains at?! And I’m glad it plays different, in beta I was killing it, now it’s more challenging and makes me better at the character, and the spammers ain’t on top anymore
Gizmo has so many bugs. His arrows vaporize half of the projectiles, you can hold his umbrella on the ground to go around with extra speed and the car can steal his ability to jump sometimes.
Do you need to have tap jump on to be able to IAD?

How do you juggle a Shaggy if the dude uses his R1 Cycling Kick that makes that weird noise bliiblblblbbiblbiiii lol, if your underneath and try to attack, your getting cycled. I'm confused, but I'm a beginner 2 days in, I just noticed that works for me everytime someone is underneath me. Can you elaborate how to Juggle me anyway?

Bro i need help with Finn. I was pretty good with him b4(won probably 85% of my matches), but now its like a totally diff character. Im struggling to kill bc good players know to watch for the backpack, so i end up having to juggle forever lol.

The speed was never the problem, it was the infinite dodging with s in between and there being broken moves that couldn't be punished.

How do you boost jump?
Is there a setting I can turn on to see when attack decay starts like in the open beta? Also I’m an Arya main so I want to know if they took out her backstab effect from the game?
They removed attack decay and as a fellow arya main the back stab is still there and in her passive description there's just no indicator anymore
The speed now isn’t bad. You can tell it’s slower. I would prefer it sped up just because. Not for dodging
Great vid dude, only thing i hate about the new version is the color over character models of alles and enemies (i dont mean the outlines). Way too intsense coloring wish i could just turn it off

What if they are also side stepping how do I counter it
I mean, I feel like they can probably still make the game faster without necessarily increasing any of the characters’ mobility. I mean yeah, there might be a bit less end lag if they speed up the FPS of the game, but they could still just extend the hit stun and recovery frames of whatever moves seem to be causing problems.
TLDR: I think the game can be fast and still reward smart movement.
Sometimes i wonder if they even test the patches and review them before release. Recovery frames are inconsistent, slow or not game still has that issue in reliable punishes, and wonky hit/hurtboxes.
What is an IED cause I don’t get the abbreviation? Also what is the buttons pressed on a PS5 controller to do an IED?
IAD = Instant Air Dash, you move up forward on the stick and then immediately press R2 and use and attack after
I just need the option to switch neutral attack with side attack again. It’s messing with my muscle memory
The pace of this game is perfect now i think. Not everything needs 2 be melee speed.

they just need to slightly speed up the game and have the ability to adjust the zoom and the game is perfect
I think a good analogy for this game is melee vs ultimate, I can definitely see why ultimate players would prefere the changes but as someone in the melee (or multiversus beta) side I think it feels like a worse version

I hate the new dash attacks. I don’t know how to input a normal side attack after walking for half a second
I think what I do is for dashing I flick my control stick the other way before flicking my attack stick towards the character to input side attack
I only had about 70 hours clocked on the beta but I feel like the game is in a much better state now. Really enjoyed the craziness before but the neutral play in this version makes it a way better fighter. Gotta think a little harder rather than just spamming moves and hoping for the best. How are you dash attacking without running beforehand so consistently? I play on dpad and find it hard to make it work.
You double tap the direction and then attack
I always find it funny how people will say startup frames but still use rhe term end lag. Why not just say recovery frames or say start up lag.

Why not just speed it up a little bit? Like middle ground because it is super slow. Yeah it was hard to punish in beta but the movement felt nice where it now feels clunky

I switched to d-pad after watching a vid and it feels better even tho I never use it in fighting games.

I really love players... They always have something to say, especially to the Devs and they always demand to be listened to.
When the beta came, people were crying their asses off because it was full of sweats and you "couldn't play", ok for the full release the devs sped down the game, gamers cry because it's too slow and breaks gameplay. 🙃🙃
