2024 comes out in like a month and a half and is going to be way better however MSFS 2020 is out now, really it’s your decision just know you might need to buy 2024 PS: they are expected to be the same price 2020 is $70 2024 might be more but it’s preordering now you can check the preorder options as there are different versions with different items I would recommend checking with your son/daughter to see which is best for you just look up a picture with the different aircraft for each edition also planes like the one in this video ARE EXPENSIVE example the 737-8 and the 777 by PMDG (the only good ones for these planes) cost $70 each

The aircraft is a Boeing 737-800 but sounds like a Boeing 737 max
The engine roar during takeoff and startup definitely sound like a 737NG. Not even close to max
