This video is my homage to the 1982 horror film "Halloween III: Season of the Witch".
Kinda funny how the scariest entry in the Halloween series has absolutely nothing to do with Michael Myers and is the most despised.
This is the only one I have ever watched. And I have watched this one several times during my life. It was like the horror genre was trying to expand from the already yawnfest blood and guts slasher stuff and become something longer lasting and more meaningful. The Alien franchise did that with their second film as well.
Imagine if this was in a real TV?
I always thought that Revenge or Curse of MM were more hated. Infact, isn't this one getting a resurgance of fans?
@@youwerethere Yes, people are realising just how unique of an idea this film was and are starting to enjoy it as a film by itself.
Just remove your expectations of anything related to Michael Myers and it's very entertaining.

Just saw this twice this week on AMC's Fear Fest, all Halloween movies this week. I think the Silver Shamrock is the best part and like the retro CGI animation of it - love the 80's.

Funny, I was a small child when this hit the theaters and received nothing but HATE, but today's audience have embraced the film. I actually liked the anthology concept, and Micheal Myers could have made a return in a future installment, but instead they just whored Micheal Myers out to some of the worst sequels except for part 4, that one was pretty good.

Anyone else notice when watching the this pumpkin had a ghost images on the blank white screen as you were staing at it and it was a dark grey image then as it blinked fasters it was a white pumpkin with orange boarder. Weird.

That's because of how your brain processes colour information and interprets changes in lighting conditions.
It's like that effect where you look at an inverted colour mask with flat 50% values, then it cuts to a black-and-white version of the original image, but you perceive it in normal colours until you look away from the dot in the middle of the frame.

Interesting thing I just realized for the first time: as the song starts to speed up and distort, the 4 repeating notes that are always looping start to sound like a voice saying "Ooga booga."

I know that the Witches were using the chips in the mask to kill the viewer, but I had a question. Was the viewer also having a seizure while the chip was killing them, making them suffer both ways? That would we really creepy. Just curious.

They need to make a prequel to the Season of the witch because I am curious about Cochran I want to learn more about his backstory I just wanna learn more about him and his plan And also what the cult was that he was part of.
well halloween was originally going to be an anthology of horror movies centered around halloween. if the entry was popular, then it would have gotten spin-off sequels.
myers was so popular that he got two movies, and because no one at the time actually knew that halloween was originally meant to be an anthology series, the third bombed and so the focus came back to michael myers.
but yeah, this deserves a followup. at least one region had this plan go off without a hitch, and one can assume the masks killed everyone around them too.
I hope they don't remake this or continue it because with how Hollywood is right now somehow they'll tie it into the reason Michael Myers was the way he was
Killing the whole feel and subject of this story . But if they ever did I would want an independent film country making it that would actually stick to the story with no links to Michael Myer or any of the other stuff which would ruin the Halloween series as well
