- Let's take a tour of South Lido Beach which is on the southern tip of Lido Key in Sarasota Florida.
This beach has plenty to offer from kayaking, to swimming, to relaxing on the beach. There is also a park right by the beach called Ted Sperling Nature Park offering nature walks and mangrove tunnels.
This area has bathrooms, picnic tables and a playground. There are no lifeguards here.

We have been going to Lido Beach going on 33 years(Suntide Island Beach Club). It's very affordable, love St. Armands circle. The beach has free parking for the locals and it's never crowded. Lots of restaurants, Sarasota is near by. Publix supermarket on Longboat Key. You can't beat this place for an affordable getaway.
The beach the locals go to as well :)
Really nice presentation of this oasis full of beautiful benches, love it! My wife and I were having a conversation while watching this, you're winning us over with every video you make! She has relatives in Lakeland which is nothing compared to Sarasota.. Maybe one day. 🤞
Thank you :)! Lakeland is not too far... Yes you two come move down to FL :))))! So many are moving from up North because they can work from anywhere remote now. I do have to say though Canada is pretty amazing...

My grandparents lived on the dead end that turned right, when you get to the beach from st armands circle. I loved going there as a kid... beach used to be topless in the 70s/80s

This is one of my favorite parts of Sarasota!
Agree...less crowded than Siesta Key especially North Lido.
Really beautiful place and lovely sunny day. I would love to stay in that beautiful beach right now and feel the warmth of the sun on my skin 👍

Went to lido on our honeymoon and January! We stayed at captiva resort over by siesta! We are coming back in May and staying directly on lido this time. Most gorgeous place and can’t wait to show my family this video so they understand why we are coming back!

Hi Nicole...I am glad you liked it! Lido beach, especially the North side, is just beautiful but most will speak of Siesta Key. Which makes Lido much less trafficked and therefore more of a relaxing experience :).

Is the sand as soft as in Siesta key?
Not as powdery but nevertheless a great beach...beautiful views to the barrier island and also downtown Sarasota.
We've been going to Lido since 1986. We love it but the secret is out. The traffic is so bad now, it might take an hour just to get across the causeway. And trying to get a dinner reservation or even a parking spot is near impossible now. What a shame its turned into tourist central.

I am from Nassau Bahamas 🇧🇸 I love the beach dearly my family and I visit this beach this yesterday when we where leaving someone drove by and called me a F monkey. I know my black people from the Bahamas will never call a white person out of character.
