I've met yakov several times while we were at our timeshare we used to own in Branson.Absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever met.I remember the 1st time I saw him on the Rodney Dangerfield special.Fabulous
@@jackson5116 as a someone from former soviet country, average american lived far beter life than really wealthy soviet authorities. and when even authorities o a country lives worse than a citizen of a foreign nation you know there is no future there. im more confused how he managed to leave a soviet union because it was not that easy to do that.

People make fun of Yakov, but he was smart, settled on mediocrity and is a rich man for it.
pretty sure he didn't settle on mediocrity, which is why he left the Soviet Union for a better chance at becoming more than he would have in Russia.
