I feel Lisa Kudrow will stay like this forever until one day suddenly become world's coolest grandma.
The next Betty White...
Simultaneously coolest and hottest
So not forever.
Oh yeah! God! It's true!
Shes already in grandma age at almost 60 her son should become a dad soon 😍❤️
She is simply the best funniest and smartest guest on any talk show. Never disappointing. So real and lovely.
So real and lovely, yes. Smartest & funniest guest on any talk show? Let's not go crazy.
@Barb N. I agree. I adore her more each time I see an interview. Phoebe was always my favorite "friend". I was pleasantly surprised to find I like Lisa as much as I do Phoebe (& Ursula -- who I loved on " Mad About You").
@@callmeshaggy5166 I won't. Just my opinion.
Loved her since Phoebe the waitress in Mad About You
She should have been a model.
She is so genuine and intelligent. Absolutely love seeing her.
It’s such a joy to watch her.
The thing about Lisa Kudrow is that she loves to laugh as much as make you laugh. That's the best
The Comeback is one of the best shows ever and so ridiculously underrated.
I liked that one, but I thought Web Therapy was even better.
Best quote I've heard about genealogy: No one is from one place completely, but everyone is from everywhere a little bit.
It's really simple: I see Lisa Kudrow, I click. She's a jewel.
She is just about the most genuine person to come out of the fame factory. I love that Seth asks proper questions and actually listens to the answers. He's also a rare beast.
@@triarb5790 Absolutely! Seth is a great host.
she looks relaxed in this interview :) than other talk show, good job Seth - everyone likes you :)
Correction: everyone LOVES him
Lisa Kudrow is our Forever Phoebe ❤️. If she never gives me anything else in life, she 's given us the classic song "Smelly Cat" and for that I am eternally grateful, lol.
Lisa Kudrow is starting to remind me of Teri Garr. Always classy and charming on the talk shows. I just want to go up to her and give her a big ol' hug.
Which is why Teri Garr was perfect for the role of Phoebe's biological mother.
When Teri said she felt all "floopy" she looked and sounded exactly like an older version of Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe.
Teri Garr. Now that's a compliment!
YES!
Seth giggling is THE reason I love this show!
Lisa kudrow is my favorite on Friends. Love her laugh she's awesome!!
I felt the echos of the conversation Lisa must have had with her husband when she said unnecessary risk. What a wonderful woman
Same here haha. Wish they didn’t make it out so bad though, the negative opinions of scuba diving from people who have no clue about scuba is not good. Scuba is brilliant, liberating and an amazing way to explore the world and help in conservation efforts. I used to have the same opinion and said I would never try it, that changed completely once I actually got over myself and got certified lol!
This interview was pretty authentic and relaxed. Unlike other talk shows with the over the top reactions etc. Well done Seth 🙌
Oh hell, dont get me started on the preprogrammed question and answers, with the "surprise" diagram picture that you happen to have right by your desk. Makes me want to puke up some sermon!
@@lordeverybody872 Well then you should be commending them for doing such a good acting job.
Except he keeps freaking interrupting her! It's driving me bats!
Her laugh still makes me smile 😃
My now 20y old daughter watched Friends during the pandemic…which made me want to revisit it with my husband…and it is hugely funny and timeless and crosses generations so beautifully. She was sad and put off watching the last episode because she didn’t want to say goodbye! 🇳🇿🇳🇿🐑🐑NZ July 2022
I did that too Cuzzy Bros! Nothing like a upbeat show to keep me sane in the 263 days we spent in lockdown in Melbourne 🙄🇦🇺🦘
It's so sweet how happy she was talking about her son watching, appreciating and asking questions about the Comeback. That show is so endlessly deep and underrated. I'm sure Lisa is proud of her entire resume, but that show feels so personal to her and her comedy. It must feel great as a parent to have your child turn into an adult and have sweet things to say about what you've created.
Hes been adult since long time he's 25 I'm the same age and feel like a veteran now
Lisa is always so lovely. Just radiates intelligence, sincerity and wit.
Phoebe was always my favourite ‘Friend’. Friends was on from when I was 15 to 25.
The most underrated, witty, hilarious actor and human ever. I love her most out of Friends, every time you watch you see something new she did and she's a brilliant producer.
That, as well as her voice work not only as Honey but also as Wanda from Bojack Horseman.
She was the best on Friends. Much better in interviews, welll-poised, intelligent. JA was "popular" because she employs the best PR firm in overdrive. That's it.
No, she’s not even underrated.. she was very popular and appreciated during Friends, and been in several movies during and after friends. She’s been on countless talk shows and solo interviews. Because there’s always reruns of Friends, she’s never forgotten. But she’s also married and has one kid, so she’s more focused on that than always being in the spotlight
Once again, I love the genuine interest with which Seth interviews people. ❤️
Such a delightful interview! She is just so much fun!
I would love to see Lisa K and Wanda S get together and talk about their spouses
A recorded double date where they eat French food at a fancy restaurant. That would be amazing.
Lisa Kudrow exudes funny I love watching her she's always a guaranteed laugh! 🤣😂🤣
Lisa Kudrow is amazing! Her way of talking/being just reminds me of Phoebe, which immediately puts a smile on my face. Great interview, thanks Seth :)
There it isss.. first reference of FRIENDS... Found it.
@@hustler212 GG ;) But are you sure that I'm the first one of over 300 comments? 😂
@@emichan1330 Atleast I spotted you first...😂
@@hustler212 Well... I feel honored then :D
I just really love her dry sense of humor ❤
Check her speech to the Vassar grads, she is brilliant. A wonderful story about losing and how to go on after that loss. I never looked at her the same after that speech. There is so much to this wonderful woman.
What a wonderful segment. I love Lisa Kudrow and think she is just getting better with time.
Every time I see her I feel like she's so adorable!
I will never get over how hilarious, bright, and intelligent this woman is.
Lisa Kudrow is the best, every time she laughs i remember the BTS shots of her and Jennifer Aniston laughing to much they couldn't go through the scene where they fight who gets to stay with Joey :)
I absolutely love Lisa Kudrow! What a fantastic, joyous, relaxed interview!🥰
She is so cool. The Comeback was freaking brilliant and should have been a HUGE hit.
I needed that conversation about the beach. Thank you for making me belong.
she has such a beautiful persona! 💕🙏
She is just delightful. The best laugh
Lisa, God bless you for bringing this show to the US!!! I absolutely love it…to the point of obsession! Some are so incredable I watch them repeatedly!! Can we have more new ones, please???? 💚🙏🏻🌍☮️☘️
Love her new show. It’s soooo good!
She’s hilarious! I’m so sorry I couldn’t see the show in person. I wrote a Friends spec back in the day 😁
Love Lisa Kudrow and Phoebe, Friends is still great.
She is the reason I clicked to watch, Queen Lisa Kudrow is the real deal, what a talented intelligent smart fun loving woman. Love How Do You Think You Are that she created the American version after seeing the UK one. Such a cool show. Adore her dress, shoes and hair here, her laugh and smile is like the bright cheery sun. ☀️ 😍🥰😘🤩🌟👑⚜️💎✨
Lisa is so beautiful! So glad she didn't mess with her face. She's the best looking now of all of the Friends.
Well my mind is blown. 🤯 Lisa kudrow is 58. I thought she might be around 50 but 58 was just kind of mind blowing. She is so charming and so pretty.. I don't think she'll ever age..i
Yup. I'm still in love with Lisa. ❤
Phoebe was the reason I got hooked on FRIENDS she makes me laugh until this day, I kinda thank her for it because friends turned out to be my companion and escape and cope through a really hard time in my life, I would watch it all day long before bed I really enjoy it!
She is amazing! Lisa is smart, funny, down to earth...shes got it all!
Phoebe was the best character on Friends.
Love her! Her laugh is the best!
Great iterview as always Seth. Thanks,
I love her so much!! Miss her on TV.
I’m a simple man I see Phoebe I click Phoebe- Yum-mmy!
“I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating - and it gets everywhere.”
Was waiting for one of them to say it 🤣
I can so relate to both of you regarding the beach and sand etc !
Anyone else wonder why Lisa’s voice got so much deeper only to realize that was Alison Janney in the clip? 🤣🤣🤣
I totally had that moment
I can't wait to see her new show.
Trying to learn my own history.
That was a delightful interview to watch, so funny
There is a TV already doing it, the one Seth was on, “Finding Your Roots” on PBS and hosted by Henry Louis Gates. It’s a tremendous show and deserves a wider audience!
I feel like it use to be better. Longer & more detailed.
I’m pretty sure Who Do You Think You Are? has been going longer. Yeah, I just checked and WDYTYA? (2010) started two years before FYR (2021). WDYTYA? started in the U.K. back in 2004, though I’m not sure if you get that in the USA.
Both shows are amazing
Lisa Kudrow is just a great person idk how to explain it
Great interview!
LOVE
HER SO MUCH!!!!!!!
There was no hesitation to click on this video, love Lisa🥰
She is so genuine and intelligent
This was great ….amazing 😁❤️😂🤣
I loved her as Honey! Can't believe I forgot that funny show. Love her, and I love all her shows, actually. LOL
Love you Seth and Lisa
how could someone not be absolutely taken back and captivated by the ocean and how its a whole other world, i feel bad and hope she and him wise up and realize the beauty of mother nature and the oceans.
Well she said he scuba dives so Im sure he's aware
Anakin quote at @1:31.
This was a delight
always had a thing for Lisa man she's gorgeous and she's got the most adorable laugh ever, i hate the beach to
Still great fun, still beautiful. Maybe she stays beautiful because she stays fun?
I hoped they would have addressed why the show wasn't on NBC for years. I loved it and then it disappeared. I think it was on cable for a while.
This season first episode was with Billy Porter. I knew very little about him, but he captured my ❤️
Love Lisa so much ❤
My goodness she looks like she did on Friends. Wow
older, but in a good way
Oh I wanted that interview to last longer
I would love having her at our neighborhood party!
I don't like sand.
It's rough, course, and it gets everywhere.
Hard agree. Sand sux.
I'm going to sound like a doddery old maid here, but it's beyond me how young women wear g -bangers at the beach, all that sand going up the err.. creek. It brings a whole new meaning to a 'nasty little rash'.
But anakin, how does this relate to murdering children?
It's a terrific show. I watched the British version too. It's great.
Yea i think she did an eposode...before.. she found her dad's ancestry...
Friends was before my time (love the theme though!), but I really loved her voice work as Wanda on Bojack Horseman, as well as Honey on Housebroken as was featured in this video at 9:02
I agree with Lisa. Been to beaches in Florida, New Hampshire and Santa Monica. Oceans beautiful, beach not so much.
I can deal with the sand - but by far the best thing about going to the beach is the sound of the waves - which is wonderful, bordering on therapeutic.... when you can hear it.... When it's being completely drowned out by people blasting music and screaming to their kids about what they "Better not do!" the experience becomes deeply annoying. So I pretty much will only go to the beach in the early morning or in the Fall or Winter when they are usually empty.
Many of the women on the beach are similarly wonderful & therapeutic.
You would love Lake Superior. Huge waves and rocky "beaches."
The waves are brown noise. I saw that on ig
@@scottcharney1091 😂
Seth with the gentleman's arm on the stairs- well done sir!
So beautiful and funny. Love her!!!
Yes
Lovely Lisa
Anyone else get confused by the clip of Allison Janney? I’m like, Phoebe has changed 👀
YES.....like, you've totally got a clip of a different actress lol, wth
I really expected this to be the 1st comment!
Why is there not more comments about this. I’ve been scrolling and no one seems to have noticed.
It’s because she’s executive producer of the show. Not because she was on it.
@@DanielleReisch, yes, this. And why they are treating this like it’s a new show is a bit baffling.
I learned that my former husband, who is my son's father, is my 7th cousin. So, we are each our son's distant cousin. We grew up on opposite coasts. My niece's best friend, who lives next door to her, is her 4th cousin.
i LOVE HER SHOW - Netflix needs to make it available for everyone to be insipired to seek their roots
I love Lisa Kudrow! She is so for real! Her dad was Mormon? She is so genuine. Watch 5:53 I also went walking in my grandfather's footsteps in a very small but very ancient town. I know I traveled the same main road that he must have!
Her dad isn't Mormon, she is Jewish on both sides of her family. But the Mormons keep very detailed geneoligical records of pretty much anybody and everybody that they can get their hands on and make it accessible to anyone. The reason they do it is because they have a practice of posthumously baptizing people into LDS so they collect all this information to give everyone a chance to get into Mormon heaven. Many Jews (and I am sure other religious groups or even atheists) find this very offensive and various Jewish organizations have protested this practice, this is a sensitive topic for Jews since historically Jews were subjected to forced conversions to Christianity in Europe on pain of death, during the Crusades or at the time of the Expulsion of Spain, for instance. I, for one, as a Jew, could not care less -- what do I care if some Mormons take the names and information of my ancestors and "baptize" them into the Mormon Church of Latter Day Saints -- since I think it's a meaningless ceremony, what difference does it make to me?
So her father went to the Mormon Archives to get the ancestry information that they possess, that is all.
No, hell no! Eastern European Jewish. Anyone an use the Morman library.
The Mormons have some of the best records for genealogy.
The LDS church does a LOT of genealogical work, in part because their doctrine involves posthumous baptism of non-Mormons. They call it vicarious baptism, and it's an element of their proselytizing fervor because they are concerned that dead people who didn't get a chance to convert while alive won't be able to enter the Kingdom of God (or Heaven), and it's also a benefit to Mormon converts who are worried that their ancestors won't be joining them in heaven. They also used to baptize a lot more people posthumously without their descendant's consent, but their policy is that dead people can accept or reject their posthumous baptism. However, they've had to remove hundreds of thousands of names after Jewish Holocaust Survivors groups objected to this practice. My understanding is this temple activity used to be one of the few that women were permitted to participate in, as it's baptism-by-proxy, and their belief is that the sex of the proxy-person must match that of the deceased person.
That was an awesome Allison Janney imitation.
I love Lisa Kudrow so much I will hold back my corrections.
Knock it off. Seth addressed your sorry nonsense on Corrections. Proud Jackal here. We all know he doesn't read the comments himself.
The absolute only reason I watch geniology and ancestry shows is to hear the stories of adventure, struggle, and overcoming adversity that someone's ancestors experienced.
A right hand watch wearer!! Thought I was the only one!
I had a huge crush on her 22 years ago and I still do :D
My favorite character from friends....
I loved going to the beach when I was a kid. Of course, I was an adult before I ever got to experience the ocean. I grew up in Michigan, so for me the "beach" was Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. Now, cold water and invasive sand do not appeal. At all.
Actual legend.
I love Lisa.
Awwww, her hunny out to take her dog to the Effiel Tower 👌
Can't not click when I see Pheobe.
