The hand holding is for Luke's benefit not Nicola. He suffers from anxiety and you could really see it at the premier in London, it was really bad, when they had to take the group photo. Good thing Mama Violet stood right behind him, so she could take over, when Nicola had her attention on some of the other cast members.
@skindstad yes, I saw that on youtube, he was fidgeting and mama Violet put her hands on his shoulders to calm him down before Nicola arrived and took his hands

well the chemistry in some are because they need to create that for the s*x scenes, is obvious after create that kind of chemistry is difficult kill that. The Anthony's actor is gay and almost have their own couples. Claudia (Eloise) is extrovert person.
