The team's batting philosophy reminds me so much of "Al Kaline" baseball. Shortened swings, reaching out for an opposite field knock, golf swings at bad pitches to get the ball in play... I love this small ball action from the Tigers.

Michael Kay(Yankees guy) is a biased against Detroit announcer. In fact, ESPN and the MLB Network has been this way for years. These shots he took at Detroit are NOT welcomed by us DETROIT TIGERS fans. Kay is a joke and unwanted for Detroit Tiger games. Those comments proved that this network hasn't changed neither to let him belittle the Tigers. Simple solution... we just go back to muting these biased ABC/ESPN announcers as before and listen to our own local fan favorite... Dan Dickerson from 97.1 Radio or wherever ya can get it.
