I completely forgot about this beautiful masterpiece. Here I am listening to it 8 years later, wondering why I ever stopped. It's sad how fast life goes by.
I would listen to this all the time in Hawaii. Float around in the waters looking at the sky, could hear this very song playing those outro sounds. Bliss
i honestly used to listen to this song as a teenager imagining where my life might take me. i'm gonna be 28 in july this year, and while everything might not have gone according to plan, i have 0 regrets. here's to a good life, with a good soundtrack.

I discovered this song (and this band) in 2017. Today I am 45 years old and this song is still, for me and my wife, one of the most romantic and inspiring we know.
It’s so cool when you listen to this song with earphones or headphones. Sometimes, the sounds go back in forth into one ear and then switches over to the other. It makes for a more relaxing, personal experience
For me it's the only way to listen to music, people who don't use earphones or don't play music on a quality system, just don't know what they are missing out on.
@@vandrossfan5822 Yeah. I always relisten to music I downloaded back in early 2000-2009 in my car with high end speakers and two 10 inch subs in the trunk and damn the songs sound so different and sounds 10 times better. Music sounds amazing on a good car sound system or $1500 studio headphones with a DAC.
I'm so glad this song has gotten a remaster. I first heard it in the Hitman Sapienza trailer and since then I've been revisiting it every couple of months
I remember this song so clearly growing up. This song made me really appreciate good NC headphones. Quiet noise floor and this booming blown out drum sound and all the chatter and little bits of the song I never heard over the years. My cans have evolved with me and this song with the right pair is amazing. The depth and separation of all the parts of the music, and her beautiful almost ethereal voice is deep and quite powerful.
I am so unbelievably satisfied. I saw they were remastering the Drink The Sea album and I got chills when I finally saw they released this. This was my favorite song growing up!
It’s 2018 and I just turned forty (I mean 29). Tesla sent me and many people from all over the country to one of their delivery centers to help out with deliveries. My second day there an amazing woman with a beautiful smile that lit up the room walks in. On day four she asks me if I ever heard The Glitch Mob. She played this album and it grabbed my soul just like she did. At the end of the two weeks we were in love. She lived states away from me. The shortest distance between two points was a line from her to me. She is the loml ❤️. Your music is so amazing and had it not be for 2020, we would have saw you last May. Soon we will. I know, with all my heart, your music was a piece of something so special that we have. Thank you
I downloaded the Drink the Sea album for the song Drive It Like You Stole It. but I ended up loving Between Two Points and has played it over 1000+ times over the past 10 years...
So much electronica and EDM from this era sounds incredibly dated right now but not this masterpiece, can say that for most of this album really! Ahead of its time, still sounds fresh as hell in 2023. Sounds fresher than their newer stuff, even.
My nostalgia comes from Nokia. Thanks to the Finish company and their commercial of Nokia 808 PureView I am aware of this band and their outstanding musical art. Couldn't manage to buy a copy of the limited vinyl sadly, but the CD will be in my possesion one day. One of if not The best of their albums.

I was on psn playing games, and I sang part of this song. I'm glad to see you expanded on it and added my line to your song. "The shortest distance between two points is a line." I am flattered and always have been that you made such sweet music to it. It fits so well. I'm not even mad you jacked me for lyrics. I listened to this album for years, and it always gave me the sense of those days we were on psn laughing about jokes and pwning people online. The glory days of online play. Thank you for the nostalgic references to those days and the day dreams of having fun with people I barely knew. The days of laughter and fun glitching our way through the games scape. I want to do more! This album gave me the recognition I needed. Like medicine it heals me. Reminds me of those who listened to a broken man shining on psn days. Where I existed to send messages. Can we reach out again from the past and make the future?
