Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is, in my opinion, the top liberal arts college. Additionally, they exhort young academics to discover their full potential and unleash their creativity in order to address pressing global concerns.

Suppose I am taking Economics as 'Majors' in a liberal arts college then what would be the difference between a normal college and a liberal arts college teaching me Economics? And please do tell the career options if I pursue economics majors in a liberal arts college and in a normal college?
What about Civil exams and Liberal arts?
Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is one of the best colleges in Punjab. I really think that it is difficult to beat a liberal arts environment for undergraduates. The departments are smaller, the teaching is generally better, and they succeed at things like study abroad, participation in extracurricular activities, advising, and course availability.
According to me the best liberal arts college is thapar school of liberal arts and sciences. I am sure you will definitely need a good environment, safe atmosphere and educated faculties for your good future and thats the one point destination for you all. Hi! Thanks for the info! I have a question.. Will it be a disadvantage to study courses like business or sciences or any subject in liberal arts rather than normal colleges because, well, normal college will provide core knowledge about the subject, and maybe liberal arts will not go that deep into any subject? Basically 'jack of all trades, master of none' kind of situation? And then maybe will face problems in placement too..Please clearify😊
Hi. It depends on the profile you are aiming for. For ex..if you are planning to go for hardcore finance roles like Investment Banking etc..a liberal arts course may not suffice. You will have to opt for professional courses like FRM or CFA or for MBA Finance may be. But if you are keen on financial content development, knowing basics of finance, entrepreneurship etc, learning it in a liberal arts college would be a good option.
@@racho2487 Yes.. thankyou 🙏🏻

Yes it is possible. Colleges like Symbiosis, Flames etc offer you the option to pursue these courses.
@@racho2487 thank you so much for your reply.
i appreciate you! 👐😊
"BBA degrees are becoming more popular than regular Bcom degrees as a professional alternative. The concentration of the three-year undergraduate BBA degree is on management-related studies, whereas the BCom (Hons) degree emphasises finance and commerce-related subjects more than 50% of the time.
You can pursue a Bcom if you are more interested in finance and commerce. However, you should choose BBA if you want to work in management.
Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is a good option if you're seeking for BA/BSc/BBA programmes in Punjab. They boast a diverse faculty, cutting-edge facilities, and dual degree programmes. Because my sister is pursuing a BBA from TSLAS, I strongly suggest it. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, its parent institution, is one of the best in the country.
Ma'am please do one video regarding hospitality .
Coming Soon :-)
Thankyou so much mam 🌷
Thank you Maam
In order to create a dynamic and inspirational learning environment, the Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS) was established. In order to address challenges of global significance, we urge young students to discover their full potential and unleash their creativity. By giving students the chance to work across disciplinary boundaries, we help them develop the critical thinking skills necessary to grasp complex situations from several points of view. Along with supplying students with in-depth disciplinary knowledge in their chosen area of "Major" field, our Foundation courses and course requirements from outside the "Major" discipline of the student are aimed to achieve that. Any concept can be investigated in the school's robust, unrestricted research atmosphere.
Students are prepared for postsecondary study at prestigious universities throughout the world by taking a unique variety of courses from TSLAS. Strong transdisciplinary foundation courses allow students to choose from a wider range of options and prepare for their future career objectives. With the help of the complementing and incredibly unique project-based learning technique known as "Avani," students can grow into well-rounded individuals. Students are still looking at potential future endeavours to connect with international opportunities.

My daughter is interested in pursuing fine art, graphics, animation, music, English language. Is liberal arts a good option? She is going to 10th. What would be the best college for her and how should she prepare?
These subjects are taught as value added subjects in liberal arts colleges. If she is interested in any one of these as full time profession, she should look for a proper design college or performing arts College.
Usefull video, unfortunately, there aren't many colleges in India for Liberal Arts 😔

Ma'am humein NMIMS me liberal Arts me selection hua hai kya NMIMS ki placement n internship achi h ye course ki
Hi. Students ko mandatory internship karni padti hai ek. Placement reports ye sab officially published nahi hai. But I would rank it as an average college for Liberal Arts. Not the best ones. Ashoka, FLAME ye sab much better options hai agar aapko liberal arts karna ho to.

Is a bsc data science degree under liberal arts worth it ?
A liberal Arts college teaches you much more than just a subject. You need to identify your end goal. If you want to go in-depth about data sciences and are not bothered about any other subjects simultaneously, liberal arts colleges may not be a good option. If you want to study data science with some other subjects, you can look into Liberal arts

Most of the liberal arts colleges are Privately owned. If you are sure about your field, you can look at some options that provide you to choose specialization in final year. For ex, Mumbai University BA courses, where you can choose your specialization.
