Mariah has been extremely under appreciated since 2008. Her current music is awesome. People are seriously missing out on some of the best stuff in her whole catalog of material. And it's certainly better that 99% of the crap that is played on radio these days. If the younger generation heard the "Caution" album, they would love it but for whatever reason, radio won't play the music of anyone over about 35 years old.

Sincerely I didn't expect much from this album, but I'm really enjoying it and the truth is that this song is a masterpiece. She manages to be modern, classic, and still herself.

This album deserves more attention. I am a fan of Mariah's voice and all of her songs from the start to her latest releases. It just depends on my mood as to which style I feel like listening to.
It will never get the attention it deserves unless she releases music videos for each. This generation is fond of visuals aside from the music itself. She should learn from Taylor and other current artists.
The layers honey the layers!!!! That bridge is one of if not the best of her career. Been listening to this song for months and am still catching all the incredible intricate vocal moments. If you listen really close, there is a hidden gem of a Arabian Nights-esque falsetto vocal run-up at 2:30. Literally just noticed it, but it is the cherry on top of the entire transition. The greatest singer and one of the greatest songwriters in history folks!

As usual, she leaves us with a MASTER CLASS in variety of vocal tones, textures, and range. But y'all, 2:39 really struck me as a vocal timbre I don't think I have EVER heard out of her and I am LIVING. Wow. We have been warned but we're still never ready for all that MC has up her sleeve! What a treat continue experiencing the ever-evolving talent and creativity this legend puts forth.

I didn't like the more urban songs on Charmbracelet. I felt they were far too generic and ordinary for Mariah! Definitely not the case on Caution.
I wish people would listen to this album without their preconceived notions about who Mariah is because Mariah isn't the image she portrays or the diva the media makes her out to be. She released the best album of 2018, and the general public slept on it, and the Grammy Awards snubbed it (unsurprisingly, since they always overlook her). It's still selling almost two years after its release because it's that good.

You don’t have to be a Lamb or a huge Mariah fan to appreciate the music on this album. I can dip album to album on other artists and although I’m not too crazy about the artist I CAN appreciate good music. RECORD SALES don’t define GOOD MUSIC. Art and Money are beyond polar opposites. Don’t let corporate America distract you from what makes music worth listening to. Regardless of the units sold this album deserves Grammy nods up the wazoo! There’s a precedent here - when you’re an artist and you’ve reached the golden years in your career? You want to sound like this, not the songs specifically, but the integrity of your music, your style, and your quality. You want those things intact. Otherwise you might not even be around as long as this artist has. A+ sounds here.
