- Hey people!! I'm Deepika from India.
About this video: Since this is gonna be my first UA-cam video I have decided to make it about my room tour. It's a quick video. hehe. I hope you guys will like it. Excited!!! If you guys want me to do videos on GKS or about Aerospace in Korea, please do let me know in the comment section below.
Intro: I hail from a small region in Andhra Pradesh, India. I have completed my bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering at HITS, Chennai. I am a GKS2021 scholar, currently pursuing my Korean Language course at Jeju National University. I'll be attending Konkuk University, Seoul, next year to pursue my master's in Aerospace Information Engineering.

There is something I want to ask you, about the dormitory. If we accepted as GKS awardee, are we must pay for dormitory in advance at first? Or it covered by GKS. And how much for the fee of dormitory in a month or in A semester?

University have sent me interview schedule and they sent me excel file where I should write my name, phone-number, email.
1. In that excel I should write my name as (Given Name) then (Family Name) or (Family Name) first then (Given Name). Which one?
2. Before my phone number I should need to write India's code +91
3. My next question is they are asking me if I am available in the given time for the interview and they asked which method of interview should I prefer 'Zoom or Phone call' What should I write , Can I write I prefer interview through phone call in the excel file.

How i can find my course is available or not
Just go to studyinkorea website. Go to that GKS notice website. There'll be list of documents posted. Download that GKS uni information document. You'll get everything.

Unnie can you please tell me that we have to write SOP and personal statement and letter of recommendations in hand written writing or computer written ( like in book ) and we have to submit it to korean embassy or post it through postal service ?
And visa and passport and plain ticket are provided by the government or we have to make it ?
If it provided by government then when and from where we have to get it ?
And from where we get appilication form please tell unnie

I mean edit the document with your laptop or computer. It would be better.
For embassy you have to submit it to MHRD via post, for uni track, directly to the university (write on the top of the cover packet that you r a gks applicant )
Passport you should get it. You should provide your notarized passport copy along with your documents.
Visa n air tickets you'll get to know the process after the admission. Obviously you have to apply for visa. Niied can just help to make the process lill faster. Also my visa process was different from all the years. Our batch's visa process is lill messed up due to COVID ongoing.
Application form ? Check studyinkorea website. You'll get to know everything through that website. It hardly takes 20 mins . Go through everything.

Hey deepika I really like your video
I wanna ask that first you have to complete your 1 year Korean language course after that you can pursue your master or doctoral
This is for the GKS scholarship students.If you have till TOPIK 3, you'll be exempted from the language course.(sometimes topik 4 or 5 depending on the major uni requirement you applied for). Else you have to take up this Korean language course for a year and pass till TOPIK 3 level. After that you can pursue your masters or doctoral.
If you wanna apply for masters or doctoral without GKS, then you can directly Apply to the univ. Check if they need Korean language requirement. If they don't ask for it, then you can directly go for your degree course without the language.
But since lot of people speak Korean here, it's better to know a little language too. It'll add up to your profile and makes life easier here in this country.

Hey, university scholarship depends on the university. You have to check uni website for it. If you r talking about GKS uni track scholarship, it's the same as embassy track scholarship. It's fully funded and above it you'll be getting stipend.
If you r directly applying for uni without GKS , you can check the uni scholarships, apply for it. Prof funding is something you'll get when you get accepted by the prof. You'll be working in his lab and you'll get some research stipend by him. This is a different scenario.

@@jsk5754 umm, do be honest, I didn't understand your question properly. But the thing is Masters is your choice. Doing it or not after bachelors is upto your interest. They won't judge you based on it.

@@jsk5754 umm getting job anywhere is difficult. Not just Korea. You have to work hard and compete with Koreans equally. Also we need Korean language to survive here smoothly. So I can't say it's easy anywhere, but if you work hard and be consistent, it'll go smoother for you too.

Because i also want study in korean university
You should apply for GKS, if you wanna study for free. First year language course will be added before your actual course starts.
Another option is you can apply to any university directly and take a Korean class in that university (mostly the uni will have a Korean language course) but you have to pay for it.
Dii plz reply according to the guideline of undergraduate 2023 under GKS jeju university asking for tuition, and application fees then how it's fully funded scholarship plz reply I am so confused if u have Instagram is so plz share it with us so could Dm u easily 😢
