This video is so validating, I've been sick with various things all my life (like you I suspect I have always had this) but I didnt get sicksick until 2021 and I've seen soooo many drs since then and had to have heart surgery in June. I am unable to see a dysautonomia specialist in my city because they are booked for years out, so I have to treat myself at home with the help of Fludricortisone. I've just started your yoga and found your channel, but I really appreciated this. Makes me feel less alone. Thank you

I started experiencing POTS symptoms after my ME/CFS worsened in late 2020/early 2021. It's so debilitating! My heart rate goes through the roof every time I stand and I can't stand for more than 5 minutes without feeling like I'm going to be violently ill, but I haven't found any help from doctors yet 😭 I drink a lot of water and electrolytes. And yeah, I agree the symptoms are usually worse in the morning!

Hello. I’m so grateful for your channel. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I’ve been on a journey of chronic pain and seemingly pots that came out of no where with very scary symptoms. I tested positive on ANA but read that can happen with pots. Also, my sodium and potassium are very low. Electrolyte tabs have been very helpful. Wait list for cardio. I’ve also read not to over use licorice root. Do you take breaks from it or just take a low dose daily? Namaste ✌️❤️

Thanks for sharing! I was first diagnosed in 2017 and was pretty much normal until covid a year ago. Had a horrible relapse in January and have been climbing back again but it’s so different this time knowing more about it. There’s so much more online that’s been helpful too. My goal is to get back to ballet! I do a simple barre for a few minutes.
But yep. Randomly squatting in the store I always feel silly but sometimes I feel like there are strangers who get it. I even had someone recognize it was pots.

Ugh! I had Covid back in January and it has made my symptoms worse, too. This summer has been rough. But I agree! It is much easier when you have the knowledge to help yourself feel better. To be able to tell yourself it’s only temporary.

@@SantoshaSpirit yes! I was doing pretty good in May and then the heat hit in June and it’s been frustrating again. Trying to pace myself. I go everywhere with food and salt and drinks now. Cuz I never know. A quick trip to cvs started with me laying in the car before I even went in. I used to be able to predict episodes. Right now I can’t.

Thanks for this video. I am recently dx qith pots. It's awful.
What specific licorice root supplement do you take? I was prescribed Florinef. I may try licorice instead.

Yes I hope so too! Also I was wondering How do you take the licorice root? I have some that I drink in tea from because of other benefits and because I love the flavor 😂

Tea can be a wonderful way to consume plant medicines but I take mine in a tablet form because that way the dosage is more precise. This is the one I use: amzn.to/3NNKeaH
