    Se ve muy rico. Soy chicana pero mis padres soñé de Michoacán México. Lo asemos un poco diferente. Usamos casi todos los ingredientes que uso pero también algunos más. Y no usamos plátanos pero plátano macho. Oh y chocolate abuelita.
    Me da mucha alegría ver cómo todos lo hacen diferente. Con que no muera la tradición de hacer un buen mole. Gracias por compartir. 🥰

    Alma, you are such a fantastic cook! My son's in-laws are from Mexico. For his and my daughter-in-law's wedding party in 2019, her mother made authentic chicken mole and it is quite possibly the BEST chicken I have ever had!! I still think about it and wish I could eat it again lol. I want so much to make it, but even with you simplifying it, it looks very intimidating. lol. Thank you for the recipe. I will be brave enough to try it one day. :)

    I love this recipe. Can you post a spicy mole recipe?

    • @faviolaesquivel885
      @faviolaesquivel885 3 роки тому

      All you need to make it spicier is add a few chiles de árbol 🌶 . There is many different versions of mole and people add and remove some things. You basically make it your own. I don’t make mine spicy and I use different chiles, no banana i use plantain and few more things she didn’t add. But again make it your own. ☺️

      You can use abuelita or Ibarra it’s sold as Mexican hot chocolate tablets.

    can you brown all the nuts at the same time?

    • @katwilliams9483
      @katwilliams9483 6 років тому +1

      I think that maybe she didn't brown all the nuts at the same time because some brown quicker than others and could taste burned. I know that sesame seeds brown quickly and taste terribly bitter if overly browned.

    I cant seem to find California Chilies. What could I use as substitute? Some recipes toast the chilies instead of boiling them

    • @almasrecipes1096
      @almasrecipes1096  5 років тому +2

      You can just use 11 Pasilla chili’s and eliminate the California chili. Its should still taste good.

      @@almasrecipes1096 Thanks. I have also noted that some use plantains instead of banana. I guess one must try the different alternatives out and see what tastes best for the individual. Not living in a country where a Mexican Mole can be enjoyed, it is kinda difficult to know what end result one is striving to attain
