I love this style of bun. I can use my ponytail size when dry hair. When wet I go up a size. I love using a flexi because it lets me center the pretty in the center of the bun. Thank you for showing this style. Love all your tutorials.
@brookehinchmanknotts8961 I almost always use the long ones unless I’m doing a half-back bun with less hair. I like the short ones for my double stacked buns. It can depend on the thickness of you hair too… mine is average. 🤷🏼♀️
My hair is not really of a huge volume, but it’s extremely hard and stubborn. so whichever way I pull or twist it, it easily bounces back to the way it was. And I don’t like hair product so these nice buns probably will never work well for me 🙁today I was outside wearing a bun with underlying ponytail secured by hair band, but one strand just bounced off the loop and I had to undo the bun
Is your hair shorter than mine in this video? I think the trickiest part is kicking your thumb out to create the “8” that you will stick the pin through. If I can help further let me know. 🤗
i love your hair tutorials! you take the time to tell us the tricks and do it slowly enough for us to replicate! thank you!!
That’s always my goal! I glad if it helps. 🤗

This was supper helpful because the only videos ive seen are with women that have hair down to their butt
Oh good! I’m glad you found it helpful. I’m just glad we have products that work with all hair types. I’m getting a few inches off on Wednesday:)
My hair is Just barely longer than my shoulders so it barely works. Definitely not a long day type of bun for me but it is beautiful
Yes, mine’s just barely long enough.

Were you trying this technique? One of our Acrylic Upins or Swerves may be a better option for you.
This is definitely not easy, lol.
