@@ItsMrScott that bass has actually been a chore. It's a short scale and she's had issues with it pretty much from the beginning. Her main bass is also a Black Cloud full custom. It is the relic'd one from the No Good and Manners/Black Hole videos.
As a bassist yourself I think you would love their songs "Play" and the combo "Manners - Black Hole", both in their YT channel. Band Maid could give a master class on how to let your bassist fly free, and be just as much of a leader as their lead guitarist.
MISA basically has carte blanche in terms of her bass lines. She plays what she wants, and how she wants because she wants what’s best for the song and for the listener.💪🏻🤘🏻

Hello Mr. Scott. 63yo Maidiac here. Been listening to rock music since I bought Steppenwolf and Alice Cooper albums back in the 60's. Rode along with Black Sabbath and the birth of metal in high school. That being said I haven't been this obsessed with a band since Van Halen came out. I highly recommend the MV versions of "YOLO", "Alone" (one of Kanami's best solos), "Daydreaming" (another of Kanami's best solos), and "Blooming". For live videos, try "Onset" from the Zepp show in 2018 and "Domination" and "Play", from the same show as "Freedom".
Another fine reaction Mr Scott. This is your band if your focus is the bass. Try Onset-Live and the new Manners/Black Hole-Live or the MV Daydreaming. If you like them so far the next four dozen songs are not going to change your mind. Band-Maid is the Bestest, Tightest, Funnest band out there. Peace.

But these ladies manage to master this task with ease and obvious fun. Thanks to them, rock 'n' roll is alive again! My recommendations? 'Domination' and 'Onset' are must-sees. I have seen the Band-Maid live three times, I can tell you that Misa's sound is incredible you can hear her even in your feet coming out of the floor, I think it is impossible to put Misa's bass in the shade, then she would definitely kill you, her is still the Barefoot Assasins. great reaction dude.👍👌😎❤

In 2016, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin caught a performance of Band-Maid in Tokyo and asked for a photo-op with their drummer, Akane Hirose. Reportedly he told her that she was like a reincarnation of John Bonham. For those who don't know, BAND-MAID played in the Classic Rock Awards 2016 and received the Japan Next Generation prize. After the show Jimmy Page, asked Akane for a photo.

I love Band Maid. If you like MISA on bass try and see if you can get their videos of "Take Me Higher" and/or "Don't You Tell Me" from their Zepp show from a few years ago. Both have a back and forth between MISA and Kanami during the guitar solos. The videos used to be on YT but were taken down. Maybe can get it from a fan or on Discord website. "Take Me Higher" is the song that got me hooked on them when I first found out about them in 2019.
This clips really highlights why so many want to see them live. Fun, entertaining and talented. Effortless solo from Kanami..again. Misa..well she's just majestic. Good show of Akane's speed here. Amazing on Black Hole and Warning.
