You looked excited by the idea of adding 24" pillows to compensate for the roominess while adding heft. Totally get it. Beautiful job!

I was totally excited! It turned way better having the pillows on top and bottom. I love it now! It was a serendipitous error. I might rename the video that!!!! Thank you Patricia!

I would have opened the blue beanbag-remove enough of the beans to get the blue inside. Refill the blue with the old beans+ extra, then hand sew the blue closed. You never know when people spill on, or put dirty shoes on the ottoman. I’ve had to take the cover off mine and wash it. So happy for the zippers. That fabric is gorgeous, well done!

I’m confused… why do you think it was too big when you measured the existing beanbag?
I do like how you added the feather pillows to it. Betcha it’s more comfy that way 😊

I think it is because the original cover doesn't fit snugly--it gives room for the 'beans' to shift.

@jeannen it’s way more comfy with the pillows! The original bean bag cover was loose but it was also a fairly thin fabric . That’s why I made the new one exactly same size, thinking it would look a little tighter due to the thickness of the fabric. Wrong. I should cut the fabric smaller , but it turned out better this way.
