I wouldn't want to speak about the past Popes because they are not here to represent themselves, but what is currently occurring in the Vatican is nothing less than evil, and we must pray for the Catholic church's followers to find Orthodoxy and save themselves.
The criticism is correct, but given who is saying it, it would carry more weight if the Orthodox Church had been actively evangelising in Western Europe in the last few centuries.
Men don’t convert other men, The Holy Spirit does. Please don’t accuse God of failing to reach peoples hearts. The True Faith is always waiting with its arms open wide for any prodigal’s. Wherever the Church is wanted, it will go. God is not failing Western Europe, THEY are failing HIM.

He must also be addressing the entire Church from the Chair of Peter. “One Shepard one flock,”is how Christ told His apostles. The Orthodox are in Schism but the Vatican is in apostasy. We are stuck between the Devil and the deep blue sea for now. Traditional Catholicism is our best bet.

The doctrine of papal infallibility - such an obvious recipe for pride, sin, corruption and crimes - has rotted the church.

For the past few centuries the Orthodox Church was under Ottoman occupation and then under Communist rule.
