In the Sonic one, the part where Sonic grabbed Knuckles, he can apparently hold him away from the cliff and the movement of Knuckles legs total won’t affect that😂. Also, I like the new editing style😁
Regarding Total Drama: the fart episode of the reboot is not actually that bad I swear. Really only the challenge is gross and I really can understand people thinking it's the whole episode just farts, but really, it's basically 3 minutes in total, although spread throughout the episode. Anyway, the character interactions are good. It's definetly the worst of the reboot sure, but aside from that, I promise it's not bad. Sorry for this rambling, but I get pretty defensive on TD in some occasions
No worries something like that wouldn't be enough to make me stay away from it. It's more just something I'm not looking forward to. I will eventually check out the new season.
The exploding dog is from an anime called Sasuke, the daughter and father is from Speed Racer, the Charlie Brown clip was from Bring Me The Head Of Charlie Brown. Just wanted to let you know that since you didn’t recognize where they originated.
Thanks! It's by Dulce, she's been doing lots of the art for my channel. If you want to support her, her Instagram is linked in the about section of this channel!
Between this and some stuff you brought up in the podcast I was thinking of movies and cartoons that are made for kids or at the very least not targeted to adults but that have adult content of some kind in them. Perhaps an outdated vocabulary , or some thing that we couldn't get away with today, or some thing weirdly sexualized. The things that were OK back then but seem weird to us today. As well as the super intense stuff that is maybe a little too scarry . Its part of that look at "This is how kids movies and TV USED to be compared to where we ended up. Weather it be a look at how We truly were not trying to be offensive but it turns out we actually were or a look at how modern people are just too sensitive these are some things that I feel could be worth reacting to and commentating on All in the Family: My Go to example of a TV show that tried to bring social awareness and discuss important issues , but it also casually uses a lot of out dated words we would never say on TV in modern times. The Cosby Show: Generally Wholesome and lots of fun and hard to talk about knowing what the Star was accused of. When I think about the shows that molded our generation , I can better see the flaws. Go back and look at the episodes every now and then there are things said that are surprisingly the wrong attitude towards women. Three's company a funny show but its whole premise is built on things that sound sexual with out context and unhealthy attitudes about sex and sexuality and gender. F Troop Just about every thing offensive is in this series there would be absolutely zero chance of it ever getting rebooted or remade. The Village People and also He-Man and the Masters of the Universe : Once thought to be symbols of manhood, masculinity, and every good moral thing a boy should be to grow up strait, they turned out to be super gay when you relook at them with new eyes Freaks: a movie made staring real deformed people. Was it exploitive? or was it progressive to give work to the disabled rather then hand the rolls to normal people in make up? Mister Rodger's Neiborhood: A show not afraid to back down from talking to children about REAL issues such as race, assassination, Trans issues, and nuclear war Rain Man: A movie that drew awareness to and created the popular image of life with a disability and plaid by a person who didn't have that disability. Mask 1985 though done under make up, one of the few times Hollywood has done a story about physically deformed people The Elephant Man A true to life story with an absolutely quotable line The Garbage Pail Kids a cartoon, a movie, a card set, part of a trend in the 80s to normalize disgusting images while insulting your friends parents reacted to this the same way they react today to Trans people or Harry Potter or Captain Underpants or Pokemon ... BAN IT Animal House, Porky's Revenge of the Nerds three 80s films that created an unrealistic expectation of Colledge life as it turns out this is NOT what life at college is like. and they had some questionable moments in them The Monster Squad : A reflection of how kids really talked back then but it also has some questionable messages. Capitol Critters : Following the Simpsons this animated series tried to be for adults too but was met with audiences not being ready for it. Do you think the world would have accepted it today? Opps I accidently strid off the 'For kids" deal and just started listing things. I'll try to get back on track Batman 66 the Batgirl years: a character added to the comics and series just to prove Batman and Robin weren't gay Gargoyles : Disney's 1st attempt to do dark story driven cartoons Hocus Pocus , while for kids, this movie left in some adult jokes and sad moments Captain Planet : One of the 1st shows to tackle real world issues and do cultural diversity but also stuck to some stereotypes and some times was maybe the wrong message. Batman TAS and its spin offs : Plenty of intense moments in those shows Totally Spies: Notorious for its fetish content old school Loney Tunes and Disney: Where you often see many out dated concepts The Secret of NIMH contains some of the most intense animated sequences ever Land Before time : the 1st one was at times dark, scary or sad The NeverEnding Story that one got intense and sad at parts ' An American Tail they put this character threw a lot thundercats 80s version season 1 episode 1 tons of people DIE in the 1st episode. Also all this other stuff made it past the censores. Smurfs, Jem , She-Ra, He-Man, Gi-Joe all part of the mentality of "A show should only feature the target audience's gender because we don't want kids to relate to, play with, learn about and pretend to be the other gender The Black Cauldron: Notoriously dark for a kids movie The Fox and the Hound : This movie really upset me as a kid Watership Down: This DVD has actually been in kids Easter Baskets the ones sold at stores so parents don't have to spend time filling baskets for there kids. Didn't get in trouble but I can't help but wonder, was it appropriate? Ninja Turtles, Pokémon, Harry Potter, Captain Underpants just some of many films , cartoons, Books that got banned by parents some place Batman, Batman Returns kids movies so dark they got a new director for the next two Who Framed Rodger Rabbit? : a kids movie but with adult jokes sprinkled in Animaniacs: kids show full of adult jokes Powerpuff girls: a cartoon that showed boys it was OK to love a girl's show. Also violent and full of sexy characters...ones removed from the reboot. The Indian in the Cupboard: Fun kids movie? Or too inappropriate by the name alone? Adventures in Babysitting possibly the 1st ever Thor movie. Full of casual inappropriateness The Great Panda Adventure, cute movie, has some cringe moments looking back Hey Arnold, As told By Ginger, Invader Zim, Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy , Rocko's Modern Life, Catdog, Rockey Power , Loud House and other nick toons worth a closer look. Not to be confused by Teen Titans Go Freakazoid : Has some real smart moments but they go by real fast Marx Brothers movies: See how the 30s and 40s treated censoring adult material. Tint Toon Adventures : has a few episodes worth more attention Johnny Bravo: Is a series about a man harassing women still funny? Sam and Max Freelance Police: Irreverent humor doing the best it could while being child appropriate Cyber Six: a series that has some surprisingly deep parts but also does typical cartoon stuff The Phantom Tollbooth and Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure I found these movies real trippy as a kid Max Fleischer, Harvey cartoons, MGM, Hanna-Barbera not to be over looked , check out there early works as well.
