Sad to see this wonderful genre of music go down in flames. The promoters and their greed ruined the industry by not allowing new artists to have a chance to develope and drained every penny they could using the pioneers Tejano to fill their pockets. Now all thats left is a few elders of the industry playing for a few bucks in any venue that will have them and no new talent to pass the baton to for a new generation of Tejano to florish. It ran its course and just like other genres such as disco, punk, bubble gum, etc. it has come to its end and all we have is the memories.
