The key to finding ancient cities is finding mountain biomes. The more vertical height there is the more skulk will spawn. The more skulk = more ancient cities.

@@gideonay4731 would basically be mostly the same as his 100 days as a fish.. most of the time would be spent in the ocean cuz octopi need water to survive, anything past 30 minutes is deadly for them whereas some species of fish can go up to 2 months without water. So until he got an upgrade to let him breathe on land its just gonna be 100 days as a fish all over again. For any "ink attacks" you'd need to work the mod to damage the attacker as well because octopi will suffocate in their own ink if they can't escape fast enough so not really an op power to have. Only difference between the octopus and fish video would be strength capabilities and size. Nothing else 😅
I dont know if it is only me, but when gets the tnt from the desert temple, you could see something about 'set to survival mode'. And at the beginning of the message is a U. So maybe UnicornMan_ went to creative. This appears at 14:50 in the video, right when he starts breaking the Tnt.

I always seem to make my home over massive cave systems that take days in real life to explore and completely mine out. And since they added ancient cities, there always seems to be at least one attached to my cave system. If not directly underneath my base.

how to find the ancient city quick
There is a increased chance of finding a ancient city under mountains, hope this helps
You gotta find tall mountains, best if they are frost peaks. After that, locate sculk patches underground and follow them. Kinda the easiest way.

From playing the best place I've found to find ancient city's is flowery plains biomes if it has a mountain even better.
Idea: Play as Naruto for 100 days but your goal is to help sasuke defeat the hidden leaf village
Also, there are two good ways of finding the Deep Dark that I learned about:
1. You can copy your world, set it to creative mode, and just use the command to find the closest City. Make sure to choose structure and not biome, or it'll find the closest Deep dark instead of the closest City. Not all Deep Darks have one.
2. If you want to find one without world copying, just look for very tall mountains, usually ones with snow that are sometimes next to others that are about as tall, and go underneath them. It's not guaranteed to find a City or even the Deep Dark, but it still works.
Well, those are the best ways of finding a City. Though, I usually do option one.

i have a fully fleshed out idea for an origin you can make a challenge off, however it seems to be pretty complex; it is a multi-stage type of origin with each already having a bunch of set abilities and nothing much left to unlock, you just need to work on getting to the next stage, i have every little bit of detail made for it, but it can take quite a while to progress and due to it's complexity it can be a bit confusing; if you would be interested, would you like to see more?
@saso yan it doesn't really have anything to do with the ancient city; and sadly i don't really have any commands, can't really afford to buy the minecraft game eitherway and my computer isn't good enough. i just have a fully fleshed out description of the mod and what each of it's abilities and drawbacks would be and how they will be affected later on in the evolutions

The Ancient City only spawns in the Deep Dark biomes, which is a cave biome. It only generates below the Y-0 coordinates, however, the closer to bedrock you are, the more likely you are to find them, so you're best mining around Y -52 and then keep going until you come across a Deep Dark biome

The best way to find an ancient city is if you look for a mountainous biome and not only that if it’s very dry and very high up, the highest mountain should be on top of an ancient city, ancient cities are very very rare to be anywhere near mineshafts or water and lastly they are nowhere near drip stone caves or amethyst. I hope this helps you
I found one with amethyst and a mineshaft in it in the early stages of the update

In order to find ancient cities easier I just use the method of going to any sort of mountain bike and digging a staircase down or finding a deep cave in said biome that leads to it.

For a new base, you could of went back to the mansion and make that as your base. It was way off into the ocean so it was perfect as cover
Ancient cities are really easy to find. Just dig under a mountain or something with high elevation like SB737

i have been really loving these videos and am working my way through all of the past ones you have done as well. i saw 100 daysas an ender dragon and was super excited and then when you encountered the hacker wave the video broke. it has nothing to load or play it gets stuck with day 69 on screen and i could tell looking at the comments im not the only one its broken for. i would love it if you did that one again please the dragon looked so cool!!

I wish the quests were randomized, and the Players had them as well, so they wouldn't know what you need in order to try and stop you from getting it.
If you want to find the warden Instantly than make the seed "I want ancient city"
There will be an ancient city at spawn hope this helps
