I have both packs and on my opinion ilbe is a better pack due to it being internal frame so less movement between the sack and frame and also because the pack is more narrow and tall the pack is more in line with your back and the weights compressed the Molle pack no matter how I compress it it’s wider so the weight tends to be out of line i do wish it came with a Molle hip belt but you can loop a Molle canteen ouch on the waist strap not perfect but it works I also have a british 120l Bergen that’s a fantastic bag as well designed well before the ilbe and it’s also internal frame bag that’s narrow and tall
With the ILBE it came with those bar tacs already cut above the shoulder straps, I even complained until I attempted to adjust it to my torso, and found it useful to leave as is. There are cinch straps on the side of the hip belt to lock it in some. Thanks for posting.
I figured after the bar tack failed it wouldn't take long for it to pull the rest of the way out. Can't see how well its sewed around the cinch material.
I.C.E. Entertainment I also did take off the bar tacs on the load lifters. It's been holding up so far with no problems at all. it really is a great pack :)
Thanks for a practical straightforward review without the weird prepper vibe a lot of military surplus videos have.
I keep having molle frames cracking. I've even ordered "new" frames, and they come cracked in the mail. Ilbe doesn't that that issue.

+SurvivalRox did it hold up?
+Michael StJohn yes it did though I do have all the recon packs too so usage is shared between 5 packs....
