How long did you study before taking the test
I have my PERT (retake) tomorrow. I “passed” the first time, but I want a higher score so I can be in DE math at my high school. Will this video help me score a 123 or higher? I got a 120 the first time so I think it will.

Can someone explain how he got the 55 in the simplified equation for the arithmetic sequence part?
What time in the video are you referring to?
Mometrix Test Preparation Around 49:45... when he simplified the equation he made he adds a 55 and doesn’t really explain where it came from.

This is the video that helped me a little i got a 91 the first time i tried to pert my only thing is i wish the first guy explained more but the second video on the pert helped way more hopefully i pass with it

during the linear equation part. He got 0 and 1 where did he get those numbers from.?

This video is so helpful! The lady is EXCELLENT, the guys are less explanatory on their steps, which confused me at times, or took me a little longer to understand it all. Whereas with her, it was so easy I felt I was learning much faster. You go girl!

In min 2:04:42 I do not understand why you have to multiple both sides for 3X. I know that when you pass a number o symbol to the other size, the operation change to the opposite. BUT if you have 3X in both sizes now, WHY you still having X and 10/3 in both sizes?? I hope that you will understand my question. Thanks
You multiply by 3x in order to get rid of the denominators of both sides of the equation. If it is less confusing for you, you could take an extra step and do them one at a time. Multiply both sides by x to get rid of the denominator of the left side of the equation, and then multiply both sides by 3 to get rid of the denominator in the right side of the equation.
