Hey there Commandos! As you noticed, I was playing around with background music in this video. How was the experience for you? How was the volume/ratio on your device (and if it was too much, what device/method did you use to listen)? Thanks all for your help in continuous improvement.
Mix was good. Personally I like to play my own music in the background though - especially for longer form talking vids like this one - which isn’t possible then.
You mentioned an interesting point around 7:45 , with the gold pack I'm worried about reseller's manipulation. I'm sure the extra cards included in a mini-pack are enough to determine with just weighing the box. IIRC there was an issue with this in MTG a while back that people could weigh the packs to know if there was an extra card in it or something ( I wasn't around then so I don't remember just being told by some old heads). I'm also really hoping that the hunt for the gold packs does make the singles market cheaper as you say, and if it does I really hope the gold packs stick around!
Yep, I was thinking just that. What I'm not completely sure about though is whether a scale sensitive enough to weight say a ~3-4 card difference is able to do weight a whole box at that same sensitivity?
@@DiceCommando from what I've heard it would be achievable at the box level but would be very hard to accomplish at the case level without a very very significant investment in a specific scale.
Maybe it's because of my affinity towards the East Asian aesthetic kind of art (but then again, I've been happy with a lot of the art styles that FaB has employed all throughout), but I feel like this is the set that I'd much rather go out of my way to get RF versions of certain cards via buying in singles that I want to have in my overall collection (with the possibility of getting certain of those RFs' signed by artists that I can hopefully meet in the future), rather than rolling the dice and buying a case. It's weird. Normally I would have just said F it and buy a case and see what happens, but I think being more intentional about how I buy cards within this set is the way to go for me. If I had the budget, this would be a set that I would 100% want to get a master set of, especially if it's all in the Japanese language (which LSS has been doing a fantastic job with their efforts in getting more of the Japanese market into the fold for this game).
I really hope all of us in general get the opportunity to buy Japanese language sealed product / singles for this beautiful set. There's something so fantastic about having cards in a language that the art matches the aesthetic for. I'm sure there's a term for it but I can't think of it right now.

The music felt right at home, good audio level so I was still able to understand you and it wasn't distracting. :)
Music audio mix was fine on iPhone 13
worked for me! good balance between listening to the background music and your voice.

Iirc in their Sealed guide video the LSS devs said that every MST pack contains one guaranteed Transcend card.
This is confirmed, played in world premiere, all packs have 1 transcend card
What are transcend cards pls ?
@@nechikuokami106 cards like rising sun, setting moon that have transcend/超越 mechanic

Great breakdown, as ever!
Really looking forward to opening some of this set!

I'm buying as much as I reasonably can. 2/3 English 1/3 Japanese. Since there's only 100 of those Marvel Enigmas.....
Have they shown which legendary and marvel are exclusive to Japan?
The L is Mask of Momentum I believe
Go Commando!
Im passing, it's incredibly complicated for me. If it becomes a power creep... That is kinda bad I hope it doesn't turn out like that
It's perfectly reasonable to sit out a set. I've sat ones out before as well and just picked up a card or 3.
