    Am happy to see at least in Germany, drivers know to gtfu the fast lane. Here in the United States, no way. Some drivers will stay on fast lane doing below 55mph. maddening.

    • @fu7134
      @fu7134 8 років тому +34

      you often got that here, too. no cars around and they go 90-100 kmh (55-60 mph(?)) on the left or middle lane. btw there are at least 3 facepalm-worthy situations in the video O.o

    • @Teheleri

    • @MAA-zu8lb
      @MAA-zu8lb 7 років тому +16

      There is no "fast lane" in Germany. The rule is simply to always use the rightmost lane possible unless you are overtaking. But once you *are* overtaking, you have the right to finish your overtaking maneuver and wait for a gap that is sufficiently large to change back lanes without compromising the other cars' safety distance. In the meantime, faster cars approaching from behind have to reduce speed, keep distance, and wait until the overtaking maneuver has been finished. If you think that other drivers have perform risky maneuvers to get out of your way, only because you want to test the limits of your car, then you are wrong.

    3:00 this isnt "silly". On the left side you can see the sign "100 km/h - Street damage".
    If you on a unlimited part of the autobahn, you can go 200, 300, ... on every lane. Not only on the left lane.
    This also applies to speed limits

      +FastCarsNoRules220 Ehm.. In germany there are speedlimits, too! You can't go fast all the time. It's fatal that every foreigner thinks there are absolutely no speedlimits on the Autobahn here in germany! There are, and quite a few, where you can only drive 100 km/h or 120 Km/h.

    • @mllecamill3
      @mllecamill3 8 років тому +26

      +FastCarsNoRules220
      at 3:04 there is a sign that says 100 km/h, but he's accelerating.. Totally breaking the law and a cop would take his drivers license away for few months. So don't think and drive like him, when you come here, because you think it's totally legal. Just saying, because many foreigners think there is absolutely no speedlimit on the Autobahn, which is just totally wrong and dangerous!

      +GTBOARD.com It's the law. And even without it being law, I would hold a distance. If the car in front of you brakes, for what the reason ever may be, you don't have any chance, even in a bugatti. If someone is driving very near my back, I always think this person is totally nuts and I let him pass, so he can get as far away from me as possible. ;)

    You are lucky not to be followed by german police. You see those speed limit signs are there for a reason. And german police is not so friendly when you drive faster then you are allowed. Yes many parts are 'unlimited' but those parts with signs need to be followed. The car on the left lane on @3:00 is correct, he's simply following speed limits.
    If the police would follow you and measure your speed, you get a ticket and as a tourist of germany you need to pay that instantl;y. I had it as well, where i drove 160 where 120 was allowed. They followed me for 2km with a civilian car and all of a sudden coming in front of me, polizei, folgen. I had to pay a sum of 110 euro directly.
    So please note, not all parts of germany are unlimited, you can tell by those signs 120, 100 and so on.

      Some of the signs have a little sign below them, saying "bei Nässe". Foreigners usually get confused by that because they can't read it. It means "when wet". When it's not raining, the limit is invalid and you can go as fast as you like!

    What is really amazing about these drivers is that they never care to look in their rearview and side mirrors until you're right on their tail... then they slowly move over! WTH???!! A smart driver would've noticed the car 500 yards behind them and got out of its way early!

      Well, if the bugatti does 320km/h, and the other ones were doing something like 120km/h, the bugatti needs around 7,5 seconds to close up to you by 500 yards. Most people don't constantly look behind them, but only every now and then.

Sadly once a Norwegian driver in Koenigsegg in city lost control and harmed many civilians :/

    Do you know why it's possible to have no-speed-limit autobahns in Germany?
    Because they are the only nation disciplined enough to assure you can have a slow lane for trucks and normal driving, middle lane for overtaking, and the fast lane for everyone who wants to have fun.
    That's what I always admired about Germans - their love of order and inbred understanding of following rules.
    Ot only took me 3 days of driving in Germany to go back to Poland and realize how stupid, selfish, reckless and disregarding-any-rules Polish drivers are.
    When it comes to road etiquette, we're two centuries behind our western neighbors.

      How can you be so fucking ignorant as to be complete incapable of understanding this simple fact? I love Koinsegg more than most people !! but even they have just built the Regera mega car to quote "be a more practical and luxury orientated hypercar alternative to the rest of the Koinsegg line up"
      Why the do they need to build that if there is no demand ??
      Bitchfool don't talk to me when you clearly know fuck all about cars PERIOD, you need to start with a comprehensive Pirus study then work your way up to something like a BMW 318i and so on, as opposed to looking up "fast cars" on youtube from the begging of last week then running all up on here chatting like you know shit a few days later.

      +GTBOARD.com Impressive performance. No doubt. But don't you agree that a speed difference betweeb let's say 130 km/h (Richtgeschwindigkeit) and 325 km/h isn't a bit too much for the average driver on a German motorway?
      Maybe the Merc station wagon guy had two or three kids in the back whilst you were approaching him covering more than 90 meters per second!! How often do you expect him to look in the mirror observing traffic approaching him from behind correctly evaluating the speed whilst maybe having kids on board or being busy on the phone or on the entertainment system? You have reached speeds there that 99.9 pct of all drivers on German autobahn would not expect. Continue doing your runs on reserved airstrips. Be considerate and do not repeat this on public roads trying to maximize utube clicks. Talk to German drivers who covering 40 or 50.000 km during a year on a German Autobahn. They will confirm to you that even German drivers are not used for expecting such performance cars approaching at extremely high speeds.
