I went through a faith crisis a couple of years ago, I was so confused, with videos and articles against the church. I live in Mexico and no one really knew the answer to my questions, since the attacks on the church are more common in USA. I chose to read the Book of Mormon and it was life-changing. During that time, while trying to find answers to my questions I found 3 Mormons and I was SO glad I had found a channel where members acknowledged certain questions I had. I've seen your channel ever since, and David is my favorite, after Kwaku. Now I already submitted my missionn papers and am waiting for my calling to arrive. You guys truly make a difference, thank you!
I was going to the Roman Catholic Church and when the Priests was covering up sex abuse in the Church so I turned to the Church of Jesus Christ and got the Book of Mormon.

Great testimony, Mariah. A lot I can relate to. I was baptized into the Church just over two years ago after hearing the audible voice of God to do so, even though I had been anti not long before that. Somehow I knew all the missionaries taught before they ever taught it. The Gathering of Israel proceeds...
We need more people like Mariah in this world. Such an open mind she should be proud. Too many people nowadays are unusually overly opiniative which comes across as troubled manners. Nothing an open mind can't fix.
I love that you guys put out content like this I’ve been struggling with using media that doesn’t invite the spirit, and finding you guys gave me a window of opportunity to spend time thinking about more spiritual things.
Oh wow, this girl was so much fun. I loved her blunt honesty and determination to find the truth! Thank you Mariah for sharing your story, you will be the most incredible missionary ever!!!!! You are amazing! Another great episode!
Mariah I love your kindness to your friend and your complete honesty and drive to receive revelation. You needed to join the church. Thank you for sharing.
John I can’t find the JST of Luke 10:22. We don’t read and study the entire JST. Just the best stuff. I think the RLDS church has the rest of it. Go bother them.
John it means that by knowing the Son, we know the Father, because they act the same: what one says, the other would say. What one would do, the other does. Also, they have really similar traits, because the Father is Jesus Christ’s physical Father. So that’s what it means. “All things are delivered to me of my Father, and no man knoweth that the Son is the Father, and the Father is the Son, but him to whom the Son will reveal it.” The good news is that the Son will reveal it to anyone who earnestly seeks. I agree, it’s not phrased in the easiest way to understand, but that’s my understanding.
John so I’m confused. Are you in favor of modalism? Your arguments don’t make much sense, but I’m honestly bored with this. I have more to do with my life. Listen, dude, just read the scriptures and pray about it. If you’re actually seeking for understanding, good luck. If you’re just being a stupid argumentative loser, find something better to do with your life.
John I’m not. You weren’t listening to what I was saying, you were only arguing, and I don’t care to try to discuss with someone so rude. If you actually want to discuss the Bible or how wrong Mormons are, great. Find someone else. I’m done, thanks.
My mom is a convert she says she first took the lessons because she met my dad and she liked him but wanted to make sure he wasn't some psycho that will steal her and hide her from everything but he wasn't so yay!
Ii am reading the Book of Mormon and I have a hard time following the Book of Mormon along with the Holy Bible. How do I get to know both of these Books.???
First things first, the key open the door is the book of Mormon. Bible is great and true but the book Mormon opened my understanding to all that have been scriptured.
The Bible is available as an audio book on UA-cam and is free as an ebook online. You can also check it out at the library or just visit your local Catholic Church (or any other church too) and ask for a free copy. They’ll likely give one to you. Most importantly, pray for Truth.
so do I.Ive felt it.especially when I got baptised. It literally feels like theres a really warm fire inside u that is so warm and comforting and well like a hug
I really enjoyed her story, and I have always been a Latter-day Saint. But I am not sure I agree with the very end when she gave advice about "if you're scared to join the Church," -- because "God hath not given us the spirit of fear."
I relate a little bit! I never hated the church, but I gave some members that I knew a hard time before I came to discover what what really going on for myself.
She is very sweet and I am not gonna get into the religion thing but please for all the things that are holy dont talk to a mic with a gum or mint in your mouth people, the sound made me want to wish deafness on myself.
Well, even if you don't have a *religious* belief system, you still have a value belief system, everyone does, and an agnosticism or atheism that includes viewing the purpose of life of becoming the best version of yourself that you can be, helping others and leaving the world a better place can *definitely* be a motivating view that can give your life purpose. I think that's what she meant, just that she liked learning about different people's world views and belief systems, be they "religious" or otherwise.
Jesse Campbell, actually, the Book of Mormon made more predictions that came true about what would be found in archeology over the next few hundred years than any other book published in the 1800s.
There is no archaeological evidence outside of Mormonism that suggests that Jesus ever come to America. Cities, tribes, resources in the Book of Mormon haven't been found by archaeological diggings or any other means

(Part 2,) hit the wrong button! As with so many many Mormon conversion testimonies she repeatedly mentioned the LDS church, the Book of Mormon, and the temple etc. Never ONCE did she mention God the father, only once she mentioned the Lord Jesus,( that John baptized him,) otherwise 'her savior' wasn't mentioned at all in her testimony. Joseph Smith's Book of Mormon was talked about, but again the Bible simple wasn't mentioned or referenced in any way whatsoever. This dear soul is the finished product of the Mormon religious system. She has found the God and non Biblical religious system of one man, Joseph Smith, thus tragically entering the kingdom of the cults. Truly, for the bible believing Christian, this dear ladie's testimony is heartbreaking. To her, and those like her, l would say please please read the Holy Bible and trust it completely and trust it alone, trust the real Jesus Christ and the everlasting gospel found only in its pages. (The gospel that a young Joseph Smith rejected and replaced with another gospel and therefore another non Biblical faith). Kind regards, especially to dear Mariah and those like her.
Did you know almost 30% of the scriptures in the Book of Mormon are of the prophet Isaiah from the Bible? You have to read the BoM to realize it does teach about Jesus and God, the same ones in the Bible. I thought the same as you until I actually read the BoM.

I have a question for Mormons. Can a Mormon marry someone who’s a non-Mormon, like a Catholic for example?
