I had similar thoughts while watching. Ye Hua and Bai Qian are my favorite historical drama couple, and these two remind me a lot them. Shen Li definitely make sme think of Bai Qian…strong, independent…the way they carry themselves.

As much as i love Chinese dramas, I hate how they portray overweight people in most dramas. They usually asked to play foolish and outrageous characters for comic relief. They almost never have a very significant role. It seems just very disrespectful .
