@@theresamcpherson7352 it’s getting harder to film anything with all the rain we’re getting. It feels like it’s nonstop at the moment. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
I had some of the potatoes with my evening meal last night and they tasted fantastic. I weighed them and there was just over 3kg (6.6lb) which is a great return from 3 potatoes.
😂 it hasn’t stopped raining here all weekend. Just back from camping it was snowing 😮 the last days we were there. Great job on the new bed Adam it will be a welcome addition for growing I’m sure. Nice to,start getting harvests it’s why we put up with rain and slugs and crap 😂. Have an amazing week, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦
Snow in June, I thought we had it rough. I’m off to check on the dahlias in a while to see if they are still alive. Hopefully the slugs haven’t found them.
I think we’re all in the same boat. We get a brief half an hour between rain showers. The strawberries seem to like it though…that’s the only positive I can find.
@@adamdaykin4052 can't wait to see it 😍 those pesky slugs and snail's have been a force to reckon with here in my Glasgow garden ,I soaked my garden in nematodes in April and I'm sure it's been a tremendous help along with yeast traps and midnight torch hunts ☺️
@@angelamcghee4489 I thought about nematodes but I think a lot of my slugs come from the overgrown plots next to me. I do my best to keep them under control but it’s a constant battle.
Hi Adam, good job on clearing that area and putting down 3 pallett beds. Nice potato harvest, lots of planting too. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Very nice harvest! Nice new beds too! Thanks for filming.

That's a nice potato harvest, looking forward to watching the new plants grow.
🙂👍
Hi Adam the new beds look great and they'll look even better with the dahlias and holly hock in.👌👍
That’s the sunniest area of the plot so they have the best conditions to thrive in. If the weather keeps up for a while it should look great.
Hi Adam lovely job you did with the pallet collars, and your returns on a single potato are great can't complain at all there my friend

Great harvest. Just a note: they'll last longer if you do not wash them. Just dust them off and wash just before use.
Thanks for the tip, I wasn’t aware of that. I won’t be washing the next batch.
I've been hiding past 6 months waiting for the rain to pass😅

Fantastic potato harvest ,love the new beds they look great 👍 👌
If the slugs leave the flowers alone it should look great in a month or two.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment 👍🏻 it’s greatly appreciate.
