Cool toolbox tour. BTW those end caps that are "loose" are for attaching a top hutch on those boxes. I'm really liking what I see on these extreme boxes
@@BigFrogs4x4 I am just a hobbyist but I too started from craftsman and progressed along, I bought a 56" HF box in 2011 and then a 72" tool vault from strictly tool boxes in 2016 and I absolutely love it, my son is 5 and this will be his box someday if he wants it.
I like the stubby sockets, the last 30yrs I would put some paper in a socket to start a bolt, there handy as heck to start one, best thing since I found
One of the best tours I've seen on youtube. Quick, to the point, every single tool isn't Snap On (you have a variety which is good for other guys so they can tell there's many different brands that are quality), love the organization. Love how you have the tools you need and not a bunch of specialty junk that you'll never use cluttering your box and slowing you down.
Thank you! There's always more I want. Some VIM tool sets, and I'd like to get the Milwaukee m12 right angle impact. But no, I don't fall for most gimmicky tools. I only buy what I need when I have too. When you work with a tight budget you make do or make your own tools.
@@BigFrogs4x4 yeah I'm coming from 2 harbor freight boxes and a harbor freight tool cart so im excited to have something big enough to condense it all into one box
@@BigFrogs4x4 There is a tool vault 72 × 30 hutch that is almost half the price without the power strip, im wondering how they would look paired together
Nice tour. I’ve been looking at extreme boxes for a while but haven’t seen one in person. You should check out the rechargeable pen lights at harbor freight mine’s held up better than streamlight and coast did. Plus for $8 you can have 2.
If this one ever breaks i will. Thanks. And if you decide to go with a box consider rockintoolboxes.com. they were great to work with. And I don't get anything for saying that.
I haven't had any problems with any tekton i have owned. The large t60 i pressed out of its holder, cut it down shorter and pressed it back in. Had to remove an oil filter housing on a jeep 4.0 I6 engine. Had a 6ft pipe on it and it held up.
Ex7217. Love it. Only issue I have so far are the corner bars are a bit cheap and caps don't fit well. But that effect the box structure. The drawer slides are still breaking in.
@@BigFrogs4x4 so you have the professional box then based on the model number but it seems they only offer these boxes in black or blue with polished hardware.
Yes. Contact rockintoolboxes.com and tell them what you want and I sent you to them. They don't have them advertised yet so they can clear out the old models. Best way to get the best price is through Facebook messenger and tell them BIGFROGS4X4 sent you.
I highly recommend rockintoolboxes.com. fabulous to deal with. They also have great deals on scratch and dent and show room boxes. Chexk out their Facebookpage for the latest deals. I haven't had much dealings with strictly toolboxes. So I can't say much about them.
Final price hasn't been advertised. I ask rockintoolboxes.com if they had a price yet and they said to contact them through Facebook messenger for a price and mention BIGFROGS4X4 and they can get you a discount price. They just can't advertise the price until extreme tools give the approval. These are brand new to the market. I paid for the box but got an introductory price for reviewing it on my channel. Trust me, if it were junk I would say so. But after several weeks it is doing great. Except the green shows all the greasy finger prints.
Oh and shipping is free to a business with no lift gate. If you need to get a lift gate its like $40-$60 more. Residential delivery is more. They will tell you complete cost when you contact them through Facebook messenger.
Nice tour. Those Mac Hammers are made by Stanley, which also makes Proto Tools. They are identical and $110 on amazon for the set. Highly recommend Knipex Pliers too. Their Cobra plies are the best slip joint plies I ever used, great for getting rounded off bolts out.

Great collection of tools and the box is beautiful.
That's years of addition. I started out with the largest craftsman set Sears sold and the HF impact sockets. And a 56" husky box.

Those Westling Machine socket trays are the best. I've got all my chrome and impact sockets on them.
Best I've had

You should do an update if you still have this box if youd buy it again problems etc.
I would without a doubt buy it again. But I would probably step up the new 84" box. It has been great.
Love seeing someone else use BG products!
My boss is sold on them. Me personally, I don't use any additives in my oil because I use amsoil. It already has additives in it.
Have u ever used that mayhew extractor?
Yes. Best use i found is on rusted drain plug fittings in differentials.
great tour and box
I really like it. Thanks
This is too scary, we have the same color box. And alot of the same tools. Good stuff👍

Awesome! It is a hair pulling but fulfilling job. Nothing like the feeling when you finish a job knowing you did a good job.
The craftsman socket adapter that you’re showing at minute 4:00 -what is this called?
Honestly I have no idea. They came on my pro craftsman set I bought years ago. I will see if I can find them or something like them for you.

Where did you get the green socket trays
westlingmachine.com
Great trays. Best I could find and made in the USA!
Mine does not fit fat 1/2 impact sockets
That the only disadvantage of westling sockets holders
I haven't seen that problem yet.
I've never seen 12 point impact sockets
I mostly use them on 12 point drive line bolts. They are sunex.
