It would have been good to know what the general message of this convo was going to be from the title besides just a conversation. Also where did Jeff go?
Jeff's role at Numenta hasn't changed. Donna, our co-founder and CEO, has taken a temporary assignment in D.C., and Subutai has taken on the CEO role while she's on leave.

Could someone point me in the direction of one of your videos where 'reference frames' are precisely explained? I've read the new book (as well as the first one)....and Jeff does a great job, but the new information coming out of this book is the discovery of the use of reference frames....and I'm stopped dead in my tracks. I can't seem to find any real defining, actual implementation and/or physical description of this process. I have a vague idea, but I think I'm wrong. Numenta and Jeff changed my whole outlook and direction of my own research and I believe that Jeff, Subutai and this company should be on the forefront of all "AI" development and we all should be taking lessons from them. If I could only get a good grasp of what is meant by the term Reference Frames. Thank you.
I am looking foward to seeing how large neural networks could be pre-trained with reference frames. Perhaps current large-language-models could be transformed into reference frames that would then seed new networks that are fine-tuned.
Would your technology work on the analog chip systems such as mythic or rain neuromorphic hardware? Seems to me that Numenta's approach would be a good match for this kind of hardware. I love your video series on the different theories on ai and the brain. Thank you so much for this video.
Why is Jeff Hawkins no longer the CEO?
The CEO was a woman, with strong ties to the US government and deep into politics. It may be good to have a more technical person as the CEO
@@bernardoramos9409 I see, for some reason I thought it was Hawkins. Him and Ahmad were the only two names I knew from the company. I should have done MY research.

@@dmitryklimenko3049 1) I have already solved AGI - have u seen my whitepaper? you can find it in some of my video descriptions.
2) Its gonna be very hard for them to produce commercially useful and marketable techniques and applications that has to compete with existing services, which must use the insights they have accumulated over 2 decades. Simple backprop will be more effective in tackling most narrow simple objectives than the insights from neuroscience despite claims of superior performance and what not. They are a small team now and its gonna be hard to emulate the success of deep mind backed by google. I just dont see the thousand brains theory being practically useful in many ways.
