I'm thinking he was winding too fast for the fish to get hold properly of the lure .I'd slow down on the retreive and know that he'd hook a lot more fish .This is basically the same as pike fishing ,just slow down the retreive .but a good video .
Looks like these fish are used to disabling anything they attack with the first strike wether it ends up In their mouth at first or not. This footage is soo sick
