Greenleaf was IMHO the best 14.1 player in history. He won most of his titles either under the influence or hung over. Watch his form. THE best ever in pocket billiards and the man who taught Mosconi how to play.

Michael Foster his form ? His form like so many others in that era is completely different. They use much more shoulder and wrist action and not the elbow. Furthermore players of that era stand up over the ball much more. No one gets down low on the ball with chin rubbing the cue. Most people on the planet today would think his form and fundamentals is garbage. Jmo

Very few of the Top pro pool players of today have their chin almost rubbing the cue.

You’re missing it.. watch his delivery.. The way he hits the cue ball is phenomenal.. No fear, no foibles.. Greenleaf had the right arm of God Himself..

He didn't teach Willie how to play he taught Willie how to twist the knife when it's in your opponent. That's what made Willie a killer, And better than Ralph eventually.

Those were some wicked masse shots. The cue he used for some of the masse shots looked like they were 15mm or bigger.

Larger tables and smaller pockets. The shot at 0:58 seconds is something. The way he positioned the cue ball after the shot, man what spin he had on it.

dam those pockets look as small as billiard pockets , this has to be well before they widened pockets to draw more players .
